The reception staff upgraded our room without extra charge as I preferred not to be on the ground floor,thank you very much! The room is constructed in Khmer pattern, solid wood and well designed, with a large bathroom The whole hotel architecture is lovely with a beautiful garden and a clean pool. The bar has an extensive drinks list and the cooked breakfast is superb. We also had tasty, freshly made dinner twice and it was delicious, under the moonlight, with a view over the garden. The owner is involved and everything runs smoothly.

The hotel is nice and the rooms are quite large. It was clean and offered everything needed (AC, fridge,...). The location is good as well. There's a mini market, restaurants and a gym just next door and the city center can be reached within 5 minutes (by Tuk Tuk). Also, the staff was very lovely and helpful. We however missed the "love for detail" a bit. The pool area and restaurant have great potential but would need a bit of renovation (dirty umbrellas, pool beds were partly broken). We felt the same during the breakfast. The selection was fine but the used productions were not fresh or nicely arranged on the plate. Overall, definitely a place to stay for 1 or 2 nights if you don't want something "super fancy".

We were recommended to stay here for our trip to Battambang and we were not disappointed. It was just perfect - beautiful, comfortable, relaxing and welcoming. We ate here a few times and it was delicious! A varied menu to suit everyone. Pat the proprietor was sociable and warm and looked after us brilliantly, as did his staff. We thoroughly recommend this wonderful place, in a great location to get to everything - Tuk tuks are easily arranged if required either through reception, PassApp or Grab - an app where you can arrange your own and often get a good / better price if you’re out and about.

We visited after a busy few days touring Siem Reap so found this hotel very relaxing and the bar very charming and welcome! The weather was against us in terms of enjoying the pool but a pretty backdrop to dinner and drinks. The service was excellent and the tiger beer on draft was especially pleasing for hubby. Room spacious and bathroom and shower great. Overall the best place to visit along with the bamboo train in Battenbang.

The hotel photos used for advertising are brilliant - they are accurate in showing the buildings and facilities - but overplay the ambience. To be truthful the hotel needs some mild refreshment - particularly the shower/bathrooms which are jaded. However - the hotel rooms are pleasantly arranged around the pool - as is the bar. The breakfasts are pretty basic but are served fresh and properly cooked - not a complaint. The hotel is also kept clean with good bedding and towels. The room we had was a good size - plenty of room for luggage - nice double balcony overlooking the pool - no road noise. The shower is lined with natural marble which was “unsealed” so exhibited black-spotting on the surfaces and crevices which didn’t encourage you to linger. When we stayed there were roadworks - so the walk into town was a tad dusty near the hotel - it is a 10-15 minute walk into the centre - across the river - and the road traffic is pretty light. Overall a good/acceptable stay which the hotel could easily make excellent with a few small tweaks to their offering.

A great little hotel. Good pool to relax at during the day, really spacious rooms and the staff were great. A little way away from where the main town restaurants are but was a nice walk. The bar is really good too and had a really nice vibe in the evening. If you are visiting I’d really recommend a trip to the local acrobatic circus whilst there, the hotel can arrange the tuktuk and was such a good night. The only downside of the area was the noise from the local bars nearby. It’s not the hotels fault so a shame it impacted my stay. I’d recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Overall I would stay again
