This boutique hotel is charming from the minute you step into its garden gate. The staff is welcoming, very helpful and attentive to all our needs and more. The whole place, our room, amenities, attention to detail and the breakfast was to die for. The daily breakfast was fabulous. The sweetest lady chef and helpers prepared our omelets, fresh oregano pies, and special tea to perfection and much more. The bowl of fruits the day we arrived awaited us in our room and next day a bowl of cherries 🍒 was delivered to our room after we arrived in the afternoon. We loved the room & little balcony that overlooked the church and port, the jacuzzi deck and view, and the lovely staff made it all even better. The male gentleman at the front desk Maroun also procured our ride back to Beirut the night before for a reasonable fare. We will be back and highly recommend this gem to family and friends. 5 star :)

Had an excellent stay. I was the only guest at the time and the staff were unbelievably friendly and courtesy. Made me feel very welcome. The hotel itself is wonderful, right on the water and walking distance to everything in Batroun. 10 star all the way.

We took the suite with 500$ per night. We arrived at 1 for the check in , they told us that the room is still not ready knowing that we knew that it wasn’t used the day before. We came at 2 and when entering the room We smelled a very bed smell, i told the girl about it she told me im not smelling anything like it is coming from me 😀 we asked her please do something we will come back in 2h. We came back, nothing changed and a new staff was there. So we asked to change a suite, when we turn on the ac, we had the same problem in the new suite, we were fed up!! I was reading some reviews from years where many people mentioned the smell problem and since then nothing changed!!!!!!! With 500$ per night!!!! During breakfast, they put a 0.5 l bottle of orange juice in the buffet. So i asked the waters for more orange. After 5mn she filled the same small bottle and put it in the buffet, she asked me to fill it from the buffet where it was directly empty 😀 since another person used it 😉 so i waited again ….. instead of directly filling my glass ……

Very bad experience, not friendly at all. The rooms are not clean and the service is really bad. Unprofessional and disrespectful. It is overpriced although the location is good, all the rest is miserable. Finally, not kids friendly at all.

15 jours au Liban du Nord au Sud, en passant par des haltes au Sofitel Gabriel de Beyrouth ou le Mir Amin Palace, l'auberge de la mer fut la moins bonne expérience hôtelière et la plus chère ! cet hôtel n'est pas managé et le personnel très jeune (des stagiaires ?) est laissé sans marge de manœuvre pour répondre à des besoins de base ! probablement avait-il pour consigne de ne rien dépenser avant la fermeture de l'hôtel mais les manques étaient nombreux (petit déjeuner très chichement fourni par exemple). le wifi et la télévison ne fonctionnaient pas dans notre chambre (nous n'étions visiblement pas seuls) ; des remontées d'odeur dans notre douche et des tapis visiblement non aspirés. sur la carte du restaurant, dans la même veine, beaucoup de plats non disponibles ! en conclusion, un management absent qui ne sait pas ce que client veut dire pour ce niveau de prix et qui ne sait pas non plus ce que réputation veut dire (vue la façon dont l'hôtel a réagi à nos remarques). L'emplacement remarquable ne peut à lui tout seul porter l'expérience client et sa satisfaction!
