Alex was amazing. Super friendly and very helpful! (We unfortunately didn't get to meet Tina this trip). Cute and comfortable room a walkable distance to several pubs and restaurants. City center is also walkable, just a bit farther out.

Very friendly and welcoming, had all I needed, clean, comfortable and helpful. Would recommend highly.

We stayed at Hill House for the weekend for my daughter’s Hen do, all I can say is WOW.. the pictures really do not do this house justice, it really is beautiful, the house was immaculate and wine and chocolates were left for our special occasion which was a lovely gesture, all en-suite bathrooms offered the best products which was appreciated as a lot of our guests were from the beauty industry, as a mum of the Bride to be I packed the usual ( tea coffee ect) to keep our guests happy but that was not needed as everything was there to accommodate us, having 2 living rooms was great, especially the upstairs living room which was more than enough seating for 14 of us, I definitely recommend this house and would love to return for a family gathering Many thanks Fay Cotterell

Absolutely wonderful! We stayed here for 3 nights for a couples getaway and we loved every minute. Hosts are so warm and welcoming. Whole place is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were a culinary delight, with home made granolas and compotes. Full English breakfasts cooked to perfection. And the specials were a real treat. We tried most of the recommendations on bars and loved them. Lunch at the Raven was fab, perfect pie and mash. The olive tree was also nice for a treat but probably not something you do more than once. Recommend the historic walking tour and Roman baths, we also hired scooters which was a fun way to tour round a little more. Bath is hilly (I was oblivious to this when booking) so my poor knee took a bit of a beating but didn’t spoil the trip. Recommend Bath and especially Hill House in a heartbeat. There are a lot of stairs to top floor bedrooms but the views are fab and the bed is so comfy! Thank you once again to fabulous hosts x

Stayed again at Hill House this time with three other friends on a West country golf break. Harry and Douglas looked after us in style with great rooms and superb breakfasts. It was super to be back and to see the guys again.

We very much enjoyed our three-night stay at this interesting B&B overlooking central Bath. We chose a room in the attic for its views. Each morning, there was a choice of delicious breakfasts, all beautifully presented.

Knowledgeable, passionate and friendly, Harry and Douglas were superb hosts. From arrival you feel like you've been welcomed to Bath and Hill House by invitation. Rooms clean and spacious - even though it was on the top floor. The cooking excellent and conversation around the breakfast table was great. Nothing I could fault.
