Prefect stay for solo traveller. Best restaurant in town with convenient location.

The Queensbury was beautiful throughout, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Loved the free coffee machines in the lounge and upstairs hall :) Great location for walking into Bath centre, but on a quiet and pretty road.

We had an amazing 2 night stay at the Queensbury and it was everything we had hoped for and more. Having stayed before we knew it was lovely but it has had a major uplift in decor and it is wonderful. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything about the stay was faultless. Immediate check in with bags whisked up to our room, car taken and valet parked. Our room was a great size and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. A lovely ensuite with separate roll top bath and walk in shower, lots of space and beautiful decor. The service was excellent and the breakfast as special as one would hope from the only Michelin starred restaurant in Bath. A real treat for a special occassion and we will certainly return.

We stayed for a weekend for my husband’s birthday, so I did some research before booking and the pictures/reviews looked promising. The hotel is stylish, but not very impressive. The bedroom was good, but the bathroom was not as renovated and nice as in the pictures for the category we booked. Amenities were poor, hair dryer had basically cold air only. Cleanliness could also be better, specially in the bathroom. We had a very bad experience with service - around 7pm (when we were getting ready to go for dinner) someone from staff showed up in the room to do the turndown. Hotels that offer this service do it seamlessly while you’re not in the room. In this case the employee knocked and was already unlocking the door from outside to enter the room when my husband ran to talk to him. When we checked out nobody even bothered to ask how was our stay. Definitely not what I was looking for in a boutique hotel.

Sadly, this once elegant hotel under new ownership (apparently) has been cheapened in its decor. The staff were very good and helpful, the bed wqas very comfortable, and the room was ample in size, but the vulgarity of the decor, pictures, etc., was unfortunate.

Room was beautifully furnished and comfortable, with immaculate bedlinen for a good night's sleep. However a big minus was no coffee and tea facilities in the room. First thing in the morning I had to stand around in a corridor in my dressing gown while I waited for the person ahead of me in the queue to make two drinks from the - very slow - communal machine. Not what I expect for £350 per night. It is required to make a reservation for breakfast therefore committing to a time, which I was not able to do the night before so I breakfasted elsewhere. It would have been helpful to have been told while booking that there was a flight of stairs in between the bedroom and the bathroom, and that rather than a walk-in shower there was a roll top bath which was quite high to climb in and out of. I would have asked for a different room. The room also required dusting in some areas, including the top of the dressing table and the window frames/window shelf in the bathroom. For these reasons I would choose a different hotel when I'm next in Bath as at this price point I've had a better experience elsewhere.

Good location and very helpful/friendly staff, room adequate but no air con and no fridge. Tea and coffee via a machine on the landing! Beware the hotel’s policy of automatically adding a “discretionary” 5% service charge to your room bill…the excellent P and R service from Landsdowne is a good way of avoiding a substantial parking fee

Loved how walkable it was to most of the attractions, shops, restaurants. Staff was wonderful. Room was great except for the not so itsy bitsy spider that climbed across my wife's pillow after lights out. (It has been neutralized, so, no need to worry).

This charming property is welcoming with very attentive staff and a fantastic restaurant on site. We had a great time staying in a converted Georgian row house within walking distance to the Royal Crescent and all of historical Bath
