Clean and big room, very good breakfast, close to the city hall (4mins walking) and basel sbb (8mins), and a lot of smiles of the staff.

這家酒店給我留下了非常深刻的印象，房間很寬敞乾淨，前台餐廳健身房服務態度都很很好，是商務出差和旅遊的理想住宿地點。舒適度五顆星，推薦來Basel 度假/商務的朋友。酒店的硬件設施包括客房、餐廳、健身房、花園等。

Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer zum Patio (Lounge Innenhof)gelegen. Es war sehr ruhig und hübsch ausgestattet. Elktr. Jalousien, Leise Klimaanlage, leiser Kühlschrank mit einer umfangreichen Getränke und Snack Füllung. Eine riesige komfortable Dusche in einem hellen, sauberen Bad aus Glas bis zur hohen Decke. ( Mit nach Wunsch zuziehbarem, weißen, luftig leichten Vorhang konnte man für mehr Diskretion Sorgen. Das ganze Hotel ist schön und modern eingerichtet. Kaffee steht in den Zimmern und im Foyer durch Nespresso Maschinen zur Verfügung. Das Personal im gesamten Haus ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war umfangreich mit viel Auswahl. Zur Auswahl gab es Leckeren Filterkaffee und Nespresso am Automat.

Apart from convenience (central location), fresh but unpretentious interior design, and really attentive staff (24/7) this hotel offers excellent value for money! My surprise loft upgrade left me with an extremely spacious room including a balcony. Good things happen …

We spent two nights at Hotel the passage - Basel Diana Group, and were absolutely delighted with our stay. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with high standards evident in every aspect. Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and filled with natural light, making it a wonderful retreat after our daily adventures in Basel. The hotel boasts an impressive fitness center with top-notch equipment, which was perfect. We were also impressed by the charming terrace on the ground floor, which provided a cozy spot to relax and enjoy a coffee. Each morning, we were treated to a fantastic breakfast with a wide selection of fruits, cheeses..... It was a delightful way to start the day, and the attentive staff ensured our experience was exceptional. During our stay, we visited the Basel Zoo, which was a highlight of our trip. The zoo features an incredible variety of animals and beautifully landscaped enclosures. We also explored the Old Town, with its cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and iconic landmarks like the Basel Minster and the Rathaus. Basel has so much to offer, from world-class museums to scenic walks along the Rhine River. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel the passage and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Basel. The hotel's high standards, excellent amenities, and prime location make it the perfect choice for exploring this vibrant city. We can't wait to return!

Close to train station, 10 min walk if limited luggage Minimalist, clean and tidy hotel. I stayed in 406 which was at front alongside busy road but undisturbed Nice products in bathroom which was small, otherwise large bedroom, would have liked robe Receptionist Diana was very welcoming. Free travel card in Basel hotels, 50% off some attractions such as museums, zoo, tours. Special offer to hire bike for 20 CHF. I arrived on Tuesday and unfortunately things I picked were not available. Sightseeing bus (Wed to Sun), public walk of old town (Sun), cable car (closed) so bear that in mind if travelling off peak. Nonetheless was able to do plenty in short time in Basel, see separate review. Leaving for early train next morning, organised taxi to station which was expensive for 5 min trip, 20CHF, asked for breakfast pack which I received, thank you.

I booked the Junior Suite at The Passage from September 13th to 14th for me and a friend. Even then, we noticed the amazing friendliness and helpfulness of the entire team. The hotel is in an excellent location – it takes only 10 minutes to walk to the center of Basel. The Junior Suite was spacious, very well-kept, and well-equipped. When we spontaneously wanted to extend our stay by another day, unfortunately, the Junior Suite was already reserved for another guest. However, the team was so accommodating and offered us a loft instead – without any price increase! The loft was fantastic: spread over two floors, with a kitchen, a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and a beautiful terrace. We liked it so much there that we immediately booked a loft for the following weekend (from September 21st to 23rd) again. This loft was also very nice, although it didn’t have two floors and had a smaller terrace. All the rooms we visited were modernly furnished and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay: a kitchen, a refrigerator, a large TV, and a well-maintained bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were soundproofed, which allowed us to listen to music late into the night without disturbing other guests. Another plus is the secure parking in a garage. Since we always slept in late, we didn’t try the breakfast, so we can’t give an opinion on that. Nevertheless, we would like to thank the team at The Passage for the great stay – we will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Basel!

Excellent location, parking around the corner, steps away from city center. Check-in was wonderful, polite, informative, and a pleasure to be welcomed. Highly recommend! Beds were comfortable as well as pillows. We were pleasantly surprised.

We had a great experience at The Passage. Our room was spacious, bright, and clean. The best part of the room was the shower head!! The hotel's location is fabulous for exploring the old town of Basel and the Rhein River. We cannot address the breakfast as we chose to grab a croissant and coffee in Old Town. Last but not least, we wanted to give the front desk staff a shout-out. They were helpful, kind, and very professional. Thank you for a terrific stay.

The room was spacious and modern. Very clean and comfortable. The rain shower head in the bathroom was fantastic. Basel old Town was accessible right behind the hotel. The Passage room included a Basel transit pass which made it very convenient to get around. It was about a 20 minute walk to the Rhine River and we took the tram back. Lots of trams covering the city. The hotel was about an 11 minute walk from the main train station or 1 tram stop. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Exceptionally friendly staff in an excellent hotel that is conveniently positioned. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is good. But I must mention the staff again. Every single member of staff I met, receptionist, housekeeper, waiter, manager was friendly and helpful.
