앵커리지 모텔(Anchorage Motel)

Very easy to find, nice and comfy rooms. Had a ground level room which was great because it was pouring rain at the time we arrived. But the people upstairs were very noisy and pounding a lot, so consider that if staying here. Very walkable into Bar Harbor, seems very safe. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of food options nearby, we had a car but chose to walk. Everything about the room was nice aside from the inconsiderate people upstairs, which isn't the motel's fault. Would stay there again!

Perfect location for park entrances and downtown Bar Harbor. Very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Large rooms, adequate showering facilities, good Internet connection, friendly staff and most importantly, an excellent central location whether you want to stay downtown or visit Acadia NP.

Very much enjoyed staying here. Staff was really helpful and provided great suggestions about things to do and see in the Mount Desert Island area. Very close to the action downtown.

Anchorage had a homey feel to it. The rooms looked like they were recently updated, styled very cute and simple. It was very cleanly and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking anywhere in town. We did not need a car while there (but it looked like there was plenty of parking available). The staff was beyond friendly, helping us navigate the town, giving recommendations, and letting us store our luggage when we arrived earlier than check in. Overall we loved our stay here and would book again.

Friendly office staff who gave great restaurant suggestions & offered fresh muffins each morning. Very clean, comfortable room at a good rate. Liked the place so much, extended our stay by two nights.

Clean older hotel, friendly staff walking distance to a very cute downtown. Close to Arcada National Park. Walls a little thin.

We stayed 3 nights and had a great experience! Clean rooms, ours looked to be renovated, friendly staff, and was very walkable to all the downtown food and shopping. They had muffins and coffee in the mornings. On the day we checked out the front desk said we were still free to use the parking lot for the rest of the day which was really helpful as we planned to spend some more time in town before leaving.

The hotel is an older property but well maintained and clean. Not much to look at in the rooms but that didn’t spoil anything for us. Easy walk downtown and close to everything. The only detractor from our comfort was the double (full size) beds. Families may want to consider reserving two rooms. My husband and I were a tight fit on one bed so I shared the other bed with our daughter. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary coffee and blueberry muffins in the morning!
