홀브룩 하우스(Holbrook House)

We chose the Holbrook House because of the location and TripAdvisor ratings. Conveniently located a short walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor. The House has a big porch, comfy living rooms, beautiful grounds, plenty of parking and exceptional breakfast. We stayed in the Garden room. It was very clean, bed was comfortable, good size mini-fridge and cottage feel. No tv in room but not an issue for us. Michelle and Eric are super nice and helped us with restaurant choices. Of particular note, the breakfast options were all delicious and were a perfect start to our day.

The Holbrook House has a great location within walking distance to downtown. We stayed in Ash cottage which is charming. The breakfasts were fantastic always a real treat....as was the afternoon snack. Michelle and Eric always were available and took time to answer all questions. My husband left a couple of shirts behind and Eric mailed them that day. They were home as soon as we were. That is certainly a very caring person. We shall stay at Holbrook on any future trips to Bar Harbor.

The Holbrook house is an exceptional B&B! The building is like something out of a Hallmark movie and the owners are wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding also. We are already talking about going back and staying there next year.

Lovely Inn in Bar Harbor. We stayed in the Lafeyette Suite and we were so glad we did. Very comfortable room with great bedding and an amazing bathroom. We loved the private patio with comfy seating. The breakfasts were the best we had in New England. Afternoon treats were homemade and delicious. Excellent hosts!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Holbrook House! Prior to our stay we were concerned about the impact of Tropical Storm Lee on Bar Harbor, and on the Holbrook House, in particular. Eric, the owner, calmly and patiently answered all my questions the 2 times I called ahead of our stay. We arrived after hours, and the after hours check in process as it was outlined on their website went flawlessly. The room we had booked, The Blue Ribbon Room, was quite charming, with its vintage furniture. But the best part were the breakfasts! They were all very delicious, healthy, and filling. I had never taken pictures of food before, but I did here because the presentation of each breakfast was as terrific as the food was wonderful. Eric and Michelle were always very helpful with their suggestions about what to do in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and gave helpful hints about how to navigate the park. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Holbrook House as a place to stay in Bar Harbor!

My wife and I liked the feel/ambience of this BnB. Although on the main road to Bar Harbor proper, it was quiet yet easily accessible via a 10-min walk to shops, restaurants, and the shore walk. Adjacent to Acadia Natl Park, this is also a great base from which to explore all the park has to offer. Our room was clean, if basic (i.e., no tv or other hotel-like amenities), but we did not miss anything. The outstanding feature was the breakfast--first rate in every way and so filling/nourishing that we could skip lunch. Highly recommend for a 2-3 day stay.

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Holbrook House in Ash Cottage! We loved the location, ambiance, friendliness of the owners, and the breakfasts were absolutely incredible. Everything was impeccably clean and the hospitality was top notch. I would stay there again and recommend Holbrook House to anyone who is visiting Bar Harbor.

First time to Maine and stayed 4 nights here. They were very accommodating, breakfasts were delightful, and so helpful. I highly recommend staying here!!! Loved everything about it!

Great location, delicious breakfast and comfortable rooms. We stayed in the Fiddlehead room. The private balcony was such a nice spot. Eric was so friendly and helpful, and Michelle cooked up delicious breakfasts. We traveled with 3 other couples and we enjoyed wine on the porch in the evenings surrounded by beautiful plants! Lots of places to sit around the beautiful yard. Great hospitality, delicious homemade cookies as snacks. Hope to stay here again!
