Great evening “Thursday Steak night” at The Bankfoot Inn - Gillian and the team always look after you. Delicious, best value for money in the area, lovely steak and all the trimmings and a glass of wine! Beautiful evening so we sat outside for our meal. Will definitely come back soon!

Had a fab time staying here and the inn, room, staff were all brilliant. Food was excellent too. Can’t thank Julie, Helen and Brodie enough for making us feel very welcome and they are all assets to the inn. Breakfast was great which was served by Mum, who was also lovely. Can’t wait to come back soon

Back again staying at the Bankfoot Inn. love this place. staff amazing, food amazing! rooms beautiful. A visit to The Hermitage along the road is a must. great for woodland walk and seeing Ossian's Hall - dramatic roaring river below. its a must see!

Got to tell you, i loved thos place. Had googled hotels on A9, saw The Bankfoot Inn and figured even i could find it. Well not only i find it, but i ll look for it again. The place had a nice feel to it as soon as myself and wife walked in. Friendly staff showed us to our room, room 2. Good sized room, spacious bathroom, bottled water and tea/coffee facilities with biscuits. We dined too, a substantial menu with plenty of tempting treats. Add a few pints of draught cider and a few Hendricks Gins and we had cracked it. Happy to recommend...top marks

Just returned from a lovely Hogmanay . Inn was cosy with a relaxed a**osphere. Staff were exceptional and landlady was lovely. Great food and comfy beds, a perfect stay!

We came here for an overnight stay and to have dinner and it exceeded all of our expectations. The inn is beautifully done up, the bar areas, restaurant and the rooms are all decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean and fresh. We enjoyed the festive menu and all the food we had was delicious from dinner to the lovely breakfast in the morning. The staff were welcoming and friendly and there was a very nice relaxed a**osphere throughout our stay. The prices at the bar were extremely reasonable and we couldn’t believe the overall value of the stay. I really couldn’t praise this inn enough, everything about it was top notch and we will definitely return and would highly recommend it to others!

Welcoming host allowed me access slightly early. Beautiful room in an old inn, tastefully decorated, 15 mins by car from the station although I could travel to Bankfoot and back by bus from Mill Street in Perth. My room amply accommodated the large, comfortable bed with cotton sheets and was well-insulated, so the oil-filled radiator quickly heated it up. Bottled water provided each day. Double-glazed window overlooking the attractive, tiered garden at the rear. There was no wardrobe but coat-hooks on the door. Shared bathroom with lovely tiles, modern bath, toilet and sink. Shower worked! There was a separate toilet in the hall, equally well decorated, close to my room. The free WiFi was efficient. Given key to back door in case I came in late. Creaky floorboards not a problem as they added to the character of the Inn. Not in any way a rowdy pub. Sound insulation efficient. Exposed brick walls in the dining room, also tastefully decorated, quickly served, superb, well-cooked breakfast and on Friday I had quite possibly the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted - beautiful batter. The staff were highly efficient and welcoming.

Stayed here after searching for somewhere reasonably near to the A9 north of Perth as were going to Perth Races next day. The staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. Our twin room was spacious and the beds very comfortable with good duvets. The evening meal was good pub food which was just what we wanted. We would certainly choose to stay there again if a suitable occasion arose.

I`ll keep this fairly short. We were here at the Bankfoot Inn for a family birthday midweek. FANTASTIC.. The service, menu and food were all very, very good. We had a fantastic evening and will certainly be returning. Thank you to everyone there.
