I worked in ITPL for 5 years, and back then I had visited this property to accompany the colleagues from abroad (to office) or/and attend various events. All the visitors always gave a very positive feedback about the property, however, me being me always was skeptical about it. For the first time, I had an opportunity to have a first hand experience of this property and I was totally blown out. No, it's not the property alone which is World Class, it's the staff and the culture at Taj. The hotel building is very decent, spacious and full of amenities despite being at the epicenter of the chaos in ITPL. It has almost everything that one could expect in a 5 star hotel. But above all goes its staff. From the transport desk, the front office, the restaurant, to the housekeeping... they are just world class hospitality experts. We Indians are already very proud of being extremely warm and comforting, but when it comes to business the things get profitably aligned, but apparently that isn't the case for Taj properties, their value system is over and beyond it. The brand Tata isn't just world renowned for no reason. They just are the true pioneers of everything that they do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the superb staff of Vivanta Whitefiled, and specially to Garvit, Melvyn, Ajinkya, Mrityunjay, Mounika, Chef Virendra, Jhuma, ***asvi & Noor Ahmed, the fine gems who I remember very well. Room for improvement: The property desperately needs an upgrade of their keycard security infrastructure. 9 out of 10 times the keycard in your pocket losses its registration due to the contact with phone or other magnetic device, and needs a re-badging by the front office. It isn't a turn off but certainly an annoying point if staying for a week (I got it rebadged atleast 20 times).
