We stayed at Lys-Na-Greyne after our son's wedding in Braemar. We wanted a few days of peace and calm after the excitement of the weekend. The ambience here is of quiet luxury and excellent service. The house is beautiful, the bedroom we had was very comfortable with a lovely large, modern and luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, served in a lovely room with views of the garden. Joyce and Garry really know how to provide an excellent service and do it with charm and thoughtfulness.

We had the most delightful stay in Joyce and Garry's truly exquisite home nestled in the most tranquil of locations in stunning Deeside. THANK YOU. What is on offer is truly the gold-standard for luxury accommodation. We were made to feel so welcome and the breakfast was top class. We hope to be back soon.

Lys-Na-Greyne - a mansion with an outstanding view to the river and mountains - was the best B & B we ever had in UK! The rooms, the service and the „royal breakfast“ deserve 10 stars!! With Joyce and Garry we felt like spending vacation with good friends. Thank you for everything you did to make us feel comfortable.

A warm welcome from Joyce and Gary on arrival with a tour of he premises and lots of local information. Our twin room (No 2) was luxurious as were the en-suite facilities and the private balcony overlooking the river was a dream. We enjoyed evening drinks there from the honesty bar in the lounge - Bliss! Beds wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best presented and cooked we have experienced. One of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. Thanks Joyce and Gary!

Our 2 nights at this stunningly beautiful B&B was by far the most wonderful time in Scotland. The warmest hosts, excellent rooms, and the whole place is a dream! Thank you for a wonderful time - we will for sure come back!

Too class accommodation Everything in regards to staying in Lys-Na-Greyne for a three day break was brilliant -the warm welcome from both Gary and Joyce on arrival, coffee and cake served in the lounge in front of a log fire each afternoon, the platters we had on our first night and the excellent breakfasts served each morning with great views out into the beautiful surrounding scenery. We hadn't visited Aboyne before and found it a great place to stay in and explore. We booked the nearby Boat Inn for an evening meal on two nights and would recommend it. The room we stayed in was beautiful, as was the rest of the house. It could perhaps be described as a Manor House or Country House to give people an idea of just how grand a place Lys-Na-Greyne is. We would have no hesitation in recommending it highly to anyone.

Garry and Joyce were outstanding, friendly hosts. Accommodations were elegantly appointed: excellent full breakfast, large bedrooms and bathrooms, bathrooms fully stocked with towels and supplies, comfortable beds.

Options are available to have supper there as well. The rooms are large, beds are comfortable and the very well appointed. Impeccably clean throughout the home. Highly recommend this property.
