個人比較喜歡居家，民宿型環境，這是一套本地住家，花草樹木茂密，安靜，可以聽到蟲鳴蛙叫鳥聲。位置也是方便的，在烏布皇宮附近。看個人是喜歡民宿型還是高檔酒店設施型。

Отличный гостевой дом, расположенный в семейном традиционном балийском доме. Комната светлая, чистая. Хороший завтрак. Расположение супер! Самый центр города, при этом на маленькой улочке. Если приехать на такси, придется пару минут пройтись пешком. За это вы получаете тихие ночи, без шума транспорта, что очень ценно для центра Убуда.

I had booked this property for our family. I contacted Surya Dina by WhatsApp message to confirm their address for mentioning in the application for Indonesian Visa. That's because the visa application asks for a specific format like street, province, district etc. and I wanted to be sure that it was correctly mentioned. I was surprised to receive a reply from the property that they did not want me to use their address on my visa application. I was surprised because this was a legal requirement and since I was going to stay at their property, which other address could I give? Giving any false address would be illegal. I tried to reason with the property that this was a mandatory requirement for a visa but they were insistent that I should not use their address for the visa application. The reason they gave was that they would have to "bear all the liability" (No idea what they meant by that). Anyhow I sensed that there was someone not-so-professional at the other end of the chat and feared that there may be more such unreasonable rules imposed by the property if I went ahead and stayed with them. So I cancelled my booking and booked with another property in the same area. I have never encountered any such problem with any other hotel in any other country.

Suryadina is a beautiful homestay that's very conveniently located. A short walk down a narrow, private alley will take you to the street. Turn left and you'll find the Seniman Coffee shop. Turn right and you'll head down to the main street where you'll find the original Tukie's Ice Cream (a MUST TRY when in Ubud). It's also extremely close to the Art market and the Royal Palace (just a short walk to both). In general I prefer this area of Ubud because it doesn't have the crazy crowds and there are lots of quaint little streets to explore that have great cafes and cute shops with better quality merchandise. The Home Stay itself is owned and operated by a friendly, English speaking host. The grounds are beautiful as the owner is both a garden enthusiast and bird lover. Everything here is well maintained and picture perfect. The rooms here are simple and clean, you wont have a TV or a Fridge, but there's AC and the wifi was strong and reliable. My room didn't have hot water upon arrival so I mentioned it to the host. Before I could blink he was off to fix the issue. He's very attentive to the needs of his guests and wants you to enjoy your stay. I'd definitely consider staying here again and would recommend to others wishing to do a home stay.

Would highly recommend if you want to stay right at the center of Ubud and within this budget. The host Gus is very helpful and professional. Customer service is very good. Breakfast is as per your timing. Location is not very easy to find if ur first time (it’s Lane that goes inside, so keep it in mind and better to arrive not late in the night). Everything was perfect, I stayed at the second floor which I liked the most.

Stayed here as a family of 4 for 6 nights in early Dec’22. Probably one of the best decisions we took during our trip planning. The owner and his family are a delight to talk to, and it was so nice to live with a Balinese family and experience their life with them for a few days. The rooms are priced very reasonably. The place itself is a 5 min walk from Ubud Palace/market etc; though the last 20 meters or so are in a narrow alley (wide enough for 2 wheelers, not for cars). The rooms are adequate size (though not too large), have 4 poster beds with mosquito nets, AC, and the bathrooms are clean with hot water. We had a bit of trouble with the hot water in bathrooms for first 2 days, but the owner got it sorted after that. There are towels provided but no toiletries (we didn’t expect these in a guesthouse!). They have a travel desk if you want their help in arranging excursions etc (we didn’t try this despite being offered competitive prices, as we did our own bookings directly based on TA ratings). Everyday, we would wake up to beautiful views of their garden and their temple, and each room helpfully has a large seating area outside for you to sit, enjoy the peace and tranquility while having breakfast. The owner serves complimentary breakfast (one food and one drink per person), though you can request for more on payment. We would request for toast and omelette (and share some with the dogs) and juice for the most part; fruit platter is complementary. Cherry on the cake for us - They have 2 little dogs, Gaba and Molly, who were so friendly that we are still in love with them!! Summary - Beautiful place, good location, wonderful hosts, very reasonably priced. Would wholeheartedly recommend this place if you want to stay in a Balinese home in Ubud.
