빌라 쿠부 스미냑(Villa Kubu Seminyak)

別墅太過陳舊，雖然配有泳池，但完全沒有使用的慾望；空調噪音很大，十分影響睡眠。服務也是一般般，竟然要求我們11點就check out，後解釋在攜程上是12點，又改口説是11-12點之間check out。總之，性價比很低，不會再住。

Overall not up to scratch for prices they are trying to charge, seriously $3-400 AUD/night for a one bedroom villa. I managed to get a resonably good price on ********** at approx $150/night (booked back in March 2023 to stay in Nov 2023) so can't complain too much for that price, clearly a one off price. However I have stayed there many times over the last 20 years and was married in villa 7 in 2010. Clearly different owners/management as maintenance has slipped, no villa doorbells or don't work, villa decking around pools need replaceing. Housekeeping/villa garden cleaning only every other day, no phone in villas, only what's app communication possible although front desk did respond relatively quickly. Friends were staying in villa 9? next door and pool has broken step/tiles going into the pool, lounge had no tv, it was in bedroom and very small. Our villa no:4 had a tv that whilst flatscreen was clearly old, small and not a smart tv so no netflix etc also the reception on tv was average to say the least. The size of villa gardens and pools is good and is trafitionally balinese in feeling but feeling old and tired. Staff were pleasant, no complaints there. Villa Kubu tried to charge us to refill water dispenser in outdoor kitchen which we found offensive, imagine if you had paid $350-400 AUD/night!!!!! ridisculous. Could not get a second key to villa while we were there so annoying to go out while wife stayed in villa/asleep. On site spa was not operating and cafe only did breakfast and lunch until 430pm but reasonably priced. Won't stay again sadly as we had great memories and experiences there previously. Bali villa accomodation seems to have become ridiculously expensive now.

Lovely complex of individual villas of various designs and shapes and sizes. We were in Villa 9 and had friends staying in another couple of the villas. All villas had unique style, huge king beds, private pool and outdoor bathrooms. Bit of a rustic vibe and in need of some bits of maintenance here and there. All the villas had a water feature with fish - food was supplied and they were ravenous! It was an exciting part oft he morning routine to feed the fish and see if we'd get a finger taken off. Not a far walk from the action (eg, Bintang Supermarket) but the alleyways were a bit dark at night. Staff were lovely and helpful. Concierge and room service available. Had a breakfast at the onsite café one morning and it was lovely. Quiet, private and a great place to unwind and chillax

We had a lively trip, the Villa was really clean and spacious, it had everything we needed. Loved everything about it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the cafe has great food! Highly recommend!

Wir waren vor der Pandemie schon 5 Mal in dieser Anlage und waren immer super zufrieden, auch wenn im Jahr 2019 schon an einigen Services gespart wurde, was uns nicht sonderlich gestört hat. Die Anlage und die Villen sind eigentlich großartig, aber durch die Pandemiezeit mittlerweile ziemlich heruntergekommen. Es wird an allem notwenigen gespart, auch das komplette Team wurde ausgetauscht. Bitte achtet auf die entstehenden Zusatzkosten, wie bspw. Strom. Wer Wert auf eine schöne Urlaubsunterkunft legt, sollte sich besser woanders umschauen.

Es wird an allem notwenigen gespart, auch das komplette Team wurde ausgetauscht :-( Es gibt keine Security mehr, der Gardener und Poolboy kommen nur noch alle 3 Tage. Wir wurden auch gefragt, ob es nötig sei, vor allem wie oft die Putzfeen kommen sollen (ob alle 3 Tage ausreichend ist...) und auch der Abendservice, bspw. um Moskitos vorzubeugen, wurde abgeschafft. Zur Krönung wurde uns eine Stromabrechnung vorgelegt und ein kleines Kontingent an Strom für unseren 9-tägigen Urlaub gegeben, alles darüber sollten wir selbst zahlen. Wir wurden zudem freundlich darauf hingewiesen doch bitte weitestgehend die Klimaanlage und das Licht auszulassen. Auch die Wassergalone sollten wir bei notwendigem Befüllen bezahlen (jeder weiß, dass man auf Bali auch zum Zähnputzen Wasser aus der Galone benötigt). Direkt am ersten Abend (wir sind nach der ersten Nacht ausgezogen), ist schon das Schloss der Tür zur Villa kaputt gegangen, sodass wir bis Mitternacht (2 Stunden) auf den Mechaniker warten mussten. Also mit Urlaub hatte das für uns nichts zu tun :-( Wir durften aber vorzeitig aus der gebuchten Villa ausziehen und haben einen Teil des Geldes zurückerhalten. Liebe Urlaubsreisende, auch die Baliwiederholungstäter, passt bei Buchung dieser Anlage auf. Leider ist diese kein Luxus mehr wie vor Corona. Dies ist nur was für Longtimer oder aber Leute die nicht so viel Wert auf Sauberkeit und eine funktionale, mit gutem Service, versehene Urlaubsunterkunft legen.

Super location in Seminyak. Very quiet. Easy walking to restaurants, shopping, spas, beach, etc. Nice private villa with private pool. Great food at onsite restaurant (serves breakfast and lunch only). Friendly staff. Hotel is eco-friendly...result is the room rate includes an electricity allowance (pay more if you use more than the allowance) and room service is a couple times a week.

Lovely villa set in a beautiful and completely private garden with large private pool. Wonderful semi outdoor bathroom beside large pond with large goldfish to watch and feed. Delightful setting to laze away the days. The kitchen is not particularly well provisioned but that wasn't a concern as we didn't cook. Plenty of eating options are available within a few minutes walk and good quality food can be ordered in Villa through the Villa Kubu kitchen at a reasonable price for breakfast and lunch, although not currently for the evening meal.

I was a little worried before coming to Villa Kubu due to the other reviews stating it was a scam. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and check-in was a smooth process. One of the staff took us to our jaw-dropping Villa (Villa 11) which included the following; a pond with fish near the entrance, an outdoor dining area, and kitchen, a large private pool (clean and beautiful temperature), outdoor seats and shaded area, spacious bedroom with a large living area. The shower/bathtub was designed outdoors with a beautiful mini waterfall/fish and natural trees (just magical). We stayed in the villa for about 11 days and wish we could stay forever. Every morning once we left the villa the staff would greet us (really down-to-earth people). Every 2-3 days the staff would clean the room and spray the Villa to kill insects. One night I had a gecko as a guest in the villa ( I know they are harmless) but this bothered me as it was huge, we messaged the staff and they came to our villa within 5 minutes and removed the gecko (forever grateful, very responsive and always willing to help) Walking distance from shops, restaurants, and beaches. Perfect for couples and families. Honestly, if I was to visit Bali again I would stay at this villa and recommend all my family and friends to come here. Thank you for making our stay so special ❤️
