더 워터가든(The Watergarden Hotel & Spa)

나는 8년 전에 이곳에 머물렀는데 그곳은 내 인생에서 머물렀던 가장 놀라운 곳이었습니다. 이번에는 상황이 바뀌었지만 여전히 아름다운 곳입니다. 매우 조용한 위치에 있으며 정원은 잘 관리되고 관리됩니다. 마치 정글 한가운데에 있는 듯한 느낌이 들기 때문에 주변에 온갖 종류의 동물이 있을 것으로 예상됩니다.. 침대는 매우 편안하고 객실은 깨끗합니다. 일부 개조는 놀라운 일이 될 것입니다. 지난 8년 동안 객실에 대한 작업을 전혀 하지 않은 것 같은데 레스토랑이 개조되었습니다. 그래서 음식값이 더 비싸졌어요. 마을 주변에서 더 저렴하고 정말 맛있는 음식을 찾을 수 있기 때문에 이번에는 여기서 아무것도 먹지 않았습니다(와룽 부디 아유를 적극 권장합니다. 음식뿐만 아니라 환대와 친절한 대화 때문이기도 합니다). 특별한 것을 경험하고 싶다면 워터 가든이 놀랍습니다.

길리 트라왕안에 가기 위해 숙박했습니다. 항상 세면대에는 벌레, 방에는 도마뱀이 있습니다만, 뜨거운 물의 나오기도 좋고, 옆에 편의점도 있어 불편이 없었습니다.

저는 2시간 30분짜리 스파 패키지를 마치고 방금 돌아왔는데 정말 놀라웠습니다. 코티지는 잉어 연못과 무성한 녹지 가장자리에 자리해 있습니다. 당신은 이 평화로운 환경에서 완전히 고립된 느낌을 받습니다. 베란다에서 발 마사지를 시작한 뒤 안으로 들어가 전신 마사지와 바디 스크럽을 하고 상쾌한 샤워로 마무리했습니다. 이 멋진 스파 경험에 대해 Putu에게 감사드립니다.

Poor initial check in set tone. I was questioned about where had I come from, how did I get there, etc. I’m sure the other reviews are right about how wonderful it is, but too many questions just seemed an unpleasant introduction! This colours the tone of the stay. The room was beautiful, so too the pool and central location. Just make sure, dear management, you make EVERY paying guest feels welcome upon fronting to reception.

Our travel group of 12 had the opportunity to enjoy a fabulous stay at the Watergarden Hotel while enjoying a quilting seminar and retreat on the property as well. The hotel served as our home away from home while we toured in the Candidasa area and also had quilting lessons at the hotel. Our rooms and linens were very comfortable. Filtered water was available to us daily as well as a hot pot so we could have coffee in our room in mugs provided in our hotel room while watching the coi our private coi pond while we slowly began our day. We had hot water every day in a luxurious in room shower. We ate breakfast and lunch in the hotel dining room everyday. Our group ordered this a day ahead and our breakfast and lunch not only was beautiful and delicious was provided piping hot, on time every day. The most delightful thing about this that the staff’s enthusiasm and friendliness was demonstrated continually. After the first day, they all knew my name and the rest of our party of twelves names! I forgot to mention that they also for a nominal fee did a load of laundry for me which was impeccably done, folded and smelled fantastic on the same day I left it with the front desk. All of this superb service attention to detail starts with one key element, an employee named Puta. She introduced herself to our group when we checked in coming to each of our rooms to let us know to contact her if we needed anything. From spa appointment which (I highly recommend you do as many as possible while you are there) as well as addressing any questions we had. She also came and picked up 3 guests who didn’t want to continue activities in Candidasa and took them back to the hotel. She also helped us hire Balinese dancers for our final evening dinner which we had at the hotel that was delicious, intimate and wonderful for our group. Thanks to the entire staff for making our visit to Bali so wonderful! We will be back!

The tranquil surroundings was just what I needed after my cleansing ritual in Ubud & the staff were always ready to help. Manageress Puta saw that my needs were met in every way. Every afternoon around 4 'o clock, she softly made her presence known to ask if everything was ok. Even after a long days ensuring all guests were well taken care of, she still had a smile & kind word. I could see in her eyes the deep pride she felt in her role, and the happiness it brought her to see that everyone who stayed at the hotel felt at peace. No praise could do justice to the gift that was her presence at the Watergarden Hotel. I will definitely be back.

By far one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Room was spacious and clean. Every bungalow has a lovely fish pond with water lilies. Beautiful pool. Excellent restaurant. Relaxing spa. Staff exceptional. Had a lovely 7 night stay with my patchwork group.

Spent 4 nights in the double bed bungalow; comfortable and relaxing, enjoyed great sleeps and a morning cuppa while we watched the koi in their pool every morning from our verandah. An oasis in Candidasa under the supervision of our gracious host, Putu. Bungalows are surrounded by lush vegetation with a paved pathway leading to each. Rooms services daily and cleaned to a high standard. My wife enjoyed the swimming pool and the crystal clear water. Pool cleaned daily. Staff friendly and welcoming everywhere throughout the complex.
