These villas are definitely worth the trek up through the rice fields in Ubad. It's a good 15 minute walk so you need either a rucksack or get a lift on the back of a moped. Our villa was beautiful, enormous bed, but most of all enjoyed the outside shower and pool (although small is very refreshing). Very clean accommodation. The staff here are so friendly and helpful, always someone on hand. Freshly made breakfast taken on your veranda. There is a very small kitchen with limited facilities, but a large fridge is all you need. Plenty of restaurants around.

The stay was incredible. Firstly, the hosts were very helpful in arranging airport pick-up for a reasonable price. I don't think I would have worked out to how to get to the accommodation otherwise. The room was spacious, welcoming, clean and had everything we could need. When we woke up the first morning we gasped at the sensational view. Rice paddy fields and greenery for miles! The view was really something else and wonderful to enjoy from our balcony with breakfast each morning. The pool area was just below our balcony and like a little oasis. The rest of the property was stunning. The location was great! About a 15 minute walk into central bustling Ubud. This was perfect as it meant we were in the tranquillity of the rice paddy fields that has cafes, yoga studios and restaurants all along the main trail before you get into central Ubud. The hosts were the most helpful! They organised mountain treks, cooking classes and also transport following our stay. Their help and service was priceless. I would highly recommend staying!
