We arrived at Grantley Hall tonight to celebrate our 11th Wedding Anniversary. From the moment we arrived we felt uniquely special and suitably significant. The service was tailored and in tune with our needs despite it not being made obvious to anyone before our arrival. We felt looked after and individual through out our exploration in the grounds of a real fairy tale environment. We met a couple of super in tune lively lads who went above and beyond the call of duty in pursuit of our happiness , it was only when they left us their calling cards did it transpire that they were senior team members who were all out to give us an experience to remember. Can’t recommend this virtual treasure trove of that special magic that turns one visit into a lifetime of memories all laid out by well meaning, organically lead folk who live and love that life less ordinary. Thank you Grantley.

Having visited Grantley Hall 3 times already we are looking forward to our 3 night stay next week. The attention to detail by all of the staff is amazing, with nothing being too much trouble. Their training at the academy is 1st class but also all the young men and women seem so naturally at ease but professional with all the guests. One member of staff who stood out and made our visit last time very special was Eloise who served us 2 evenings at dinner and gave us excellent local advice of places to visit in the area. She also showed a genuine interest in us as guests at Grantley Hall, and is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel. We love our walks around the stunning gardens! a must if you get the chance to visit! I’m very excited to be returning to celebrate my husbands birthday.

Five Star Hotel Five Star Pastries Fiver Star Staff Five Star overall experience If we could give Grantley Hall 10 Stars we would. A warm welcome awaits the minute you arrive from gate staff to Doorman. The Drawing Room setting for afternoon tea is stunning and exceptionally comfortable. First couse of finger sandwiches and savouries were delicious but the second course of Pastries were to die for. Three highlights were the Chocolate Swan, The Rose and Cherry with Matcha. Finished of with tea infused Scones with homemade preserves and Clotted Cream. We will definitely come again hopefully to stay next time as we were only passing through today. This is one Afternoon Tea not to be missed a credit to its creator Stephan Rose.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated to the most amazing stay we have ever had and we have stayed in some amazing places. My review will not do it justice but I will try and give you a taster of our stay. We pulled up to the gate and were welcomed by a very smiley lady who greeted is with a lovely warm welcome. We then made our way up the drive which gave us a view of the beautiful gardens. Arriving at the stunning Grantley Hall. We were greeted by a lovely young man who parked our car and took care of our luggage. The receptionist took us into the drawing room and gave us a lovely refreshing drink. We then went into the spa area which is fabulous, even has a snow room if you are brave enough to use it!! We then went to our beautiful room where our bags were already waiting. There was complimentary damson gin and soft drinks and snacks. We had booked the Shaun Rankin tasting menu and we were not disappointed. Each course was an experience in itself, the flavours were an amazing explosion in our mouths. The service was impeccable from the amazingly knowledgeable staff. We went then listen to a wonderful singer in Valeria’s who was fabulous. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. Well done Grantley Hall, you have got it so right. Everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime.

If I were to rate it, 10 just wouldn't suffice! The grounds, with an abundance of flowers and lush green lawns are truly stunning. The food is a little dancing treat on the taste buds including warm fresh pastries, hot coffee, delicious artisan cheese boards, a great range of fresh food on the menu to choose from. The Grantley Hall team have kind and beautiful hearts and know how to make your day special, a one you'll remember and cherish. I celebrated my birthday with 5 star treatment, including a fantastic recovery massage, thanks to each and everyone there. If you haven't been yet, trust me, your missing a treat! Perfect for a luxury solo escape, a romantic break away or try the amazing restaurants or super events. I left as they were setting up for a Super Car event. I'm now the proud owner of so many Grantley Hall team smiles, best wishes, birthday greetings, a few lovely cuddles and heartfelt love from the team. I truly appreciated the effort they all put in to make my day so memorable. I actually left the venue with a huge grin on my face and a warm feeling in my heart! Above and beyond. Top class like no other!

This was our second visit to Grantley Hall and we were not disappointed We had lunch on arrival in The Orchard. We had a relaxing time in the spa and a lovely breakfast. We have to say a massive Thankyou to the staff who go above and beyond. Sam and Vince were very welcoming as was the young man from Australia in the EightyEight restaurant. Need to say thank you to ‘Billy’ I think that’s his name, he lives in Rippon and studies in Manchester. The staff are a credit to Grantley Hall and make the experience special! We enjoyed a walk around the grounds. We will definitely be back again!

The venue is amazing, from the moment you arrive at the Gate Lodge through to leaving, you are treated really special and all the staff are immaculately turned out with great manners and positive comments. I can’t recommend this venue highly enough. It’s not the cheapest by any standards but you really do get what you pay for here. World class resort centres around true Yorkshire values. The best afternoon tea experience bar none. Superb food, outstanding service, magnificent surroundings. Makes Betty's seem extremely ordinary. The cakes are a work of art. Not cheap but worth every penny. Highly recommended for a special treat

We visited Grantley Hall for Afternoon Tea and it was a real treat. From the moment we were greeted at the Gatehouse to the time it was to say goodbye we felt welcome. What a great introduction to Grantley Hall. We can’t wait till return for a leisurely lunch soon.
