술탄 인 부티크 호텔(Sultan Inn Boutique Hotel)

Positives- -Overall, this is a stunning five star hotel in an incredible central location in Old Town. It overlooks the nearby Maidens Tower, one of the main tourist attractions of Baku. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, otherwise, this review would be 10 pages long. -The rooms are befitting of the hotels name - Sultan Inn. The ceilings are gloriously high. The window treatments are a rich brown purple with deluxe tie-backs with gold leaf wooden valences. All the doors are 9-10’ high. My room had wooden floors and also a fireplace. The bedroom area is on a slightly raised area (for a little elegance). The ceiling had neat architectural features. -The General Manager is very personable and helpful. I had visa issues getting into the country. The hotel was very patient while I worked out the situation (was in Georgia at the time). -The views from the 3rd floor Breakfast Room are stunning! Breakfast was delicious and included cooked-to-order eggs. The prepared plate of cold items was nothing less than gourmet (cheeses, both hot and cold meats, butter, candied fruits, and various spreads to accompany the big basket of fresh baked goods). -The WiFi worked good. -The water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. -There was daily maid service - a rarity in today’s post Covid world. -The hotel is in a very safe area (even to walk around late at night). -The hotel is extremely easy to find since it’s literally right next to one of the most visited and tallest sites in the Old City, Maidens Tower. After a long day of touring, getting back to your hotel is extremely important! -There are great restaurants and shops only a 2-3 minute walk away. Negatives- -Could use more electrical outlets in the room for recharging smartphones and related items. -Being an old historical building, there is no elevator. The staff graciously brings your luggage to the room for example, but the Breakfast Room is on the 3rd floor (views are stunning!) -There is no TV channel apparently in English. There may have been, but all the words on the menu were in Russian (despite the TV language set to English). I would absolutely stay here again!

Pros - Amazing location - Spacious rooms - Staff are polite and well-meaning though I’m not sure if they can solve problems. Cons - Atrium view rooms actually look onto a corridor for the entrance to the restaurant which is open to the public. - No proper curtains to mitigate this issue I’d a lack of privacy, There are heavy blinds that do not overlap each other and also leave about 4cm of space on the sides. One of my windows is missing a sheer curtain and is not replaced as promised. - This also means light from the common corridor will seep into your room at night. - Mattress is uncomfortable - No facial tissues are provided despite requests.

The rooms were clean and comfortable to stay in. The staff were super nice and I would like to thank Ravan who checked me in and answered all my questions and requests.

Great food and excellent service. You get a 360° view of the City of Winds. The service was excellent. Both traditional as EU vibes of food!! I recommend!! We were here during the lunch and it was very sunny. Tripadvisor, does the review really need to be 200+ chars...

My aunt and myself stayed 10 nights at the Sultan Inn Boutique hotel in August 2023. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean with very high ceilings and windows. They were nicely cooled down and quiet. The double beds are big and comfortable. Whenever we came back from the bustling hot city to the hotel rooms it felt like to be in an oasis. I especially would like to mention Valid and his team at the reception. They are very helpful and supported us with all our requests (ordering taxis, support with a doctor etc). The hotel has an excellent location in the Old City. Most of the sightseeing we could do by walking from the hotel. The pedestrian district nearby where people go out at night is reachable by a footwalk of 5 mins. I will stay in this hotel again when I go back to Baku.

This is an excellent boutique in the heart of old town Baku very close to major sightseeing spots that are walking distance away .We stayed here for 6 nights and it was an amazing experience.The service is excellent .The front desk is always ready to help anytime day or night. We were in touch with the hotel even before we arrived here All our queries would be addressed promptly which gave a pretty good idea of the service .The room was very good with a comfortable beds.The breakfast on the restaurant at the top was very good and the restaurant has fantastic views of the landmark Maiden tower and Caspian sea.They have live music at night.Highly recommended to stay at this hotel for an excellent , personalized experience and a great service

In Old City. Quiet. Lovely, clean rooms Reception and Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant’s food at Roof Top was the best I had in Baku. Great views; Maiden Tower is next to the Hotel. Only 5 min walk to the Promenade.

We really liked this boutique hotel, it was our second time here and everything was perfect. Room was very clean, breakfast in the restaurant with sea view. Awesome. Awesome. Thank you guys, you are the best.

The staff at this hotel were so helpful. The breakfast was good with stunning view of the Caspian Sea, etc. The rooms were large, but dark: dark furniture and furnishings didn't help either. The location was excellent. Try to get the room with the view of the Maiden Tower, which is not dark and has wonderful view. The restaurant does not serve alcohol and is full on smoking everywhere so no good for dinner.
