바쿠, 헤이다르 알리예브 센터 근처 호텔

I don’t normally take the time to review places but considering that they market themselves as a 5 star hotel I want to make sure other people considering this hotel know what to expect at least. For context We stayed in this hotel for a week as a family (2 kids) in a connecting family room. First off when we arrived and checked in, the guy at reception said they would check our documents and to please wait in their restaurant. We ordered some drinks and waited. Meanwhile suddenly they start blasting Indian music so loud in the restaurant (it was only us and another family there) that we had to go ask them if they could please turn it back down again. I don’t know for who or why they put the music on so loud. This also happened when we ate breakfast one morning. After maybe 20 minutes we went to ask reception how check in was going and were only told that “they were checking”. We decided to go and get some late lunch since we didn’t know how long we needed to wait for them to “check” whatever they were checking. If the room wasn’t ready, it wouldn’t have been a problem if they simply said so and gave us a time frame for when it would be ready. But this was a taste of the service to come unfortunately. We had a connecting family room that had one bathroom to share. The master bedroom had only a window which was a small and by the ceiling facing out into the hallway (so no external window) which meant it was like sleeping with lights on all night as the hallway light were always on. In this case perhaps a curtain for that window would be good or installing sensor lights in the hallway so the light isn’t on unless someone is there. The rooms were SO warm and when we went to check about the air conditioning they told us it wasn’t working or they didn’t have it. (Not sure which was the correct answer) They couldn’t give us a straight answer. They told us the heating had been on the night before but that they had now switched it off and allowed for “air” instead. So whatever control you have in your room is basically useless. When we asked if they could allow for the air conditioning to be turned on they just told us they would sort it out but nothing got done. We had to sleep with the only external window open during the night so at least our kids could be more comfortable. Other important things to note - we got 2 towels for 4 people. We asked them to bring 2 more which wasn’t done. Only when we saw a cleaner outside in the hallway one evening (3 nights into our stay) did we get 2 more. - there was no cleaning the whole week. We asked for more water, asked if someone would come to at least remove the garbage and they told us they would send someone but never did. - as shown in the photos, one of the single beds was broken underneath. - several sheets/duvet covers were broken, one example shown in the photos. - there was cigarette burns on the double bed headboard despite it being a non-smoking room. I would like to share my wonderful experience of staying at Excelsior Hotel Resort&Spa in Baku this June. I booked 4 nights (12-16 June) as I was planning since long time ago to visit Baku with my mom. I selected Excelsior based on reviews on *********** and its facilities. I must say I did not regret a second to have made this choice :) the hotel haz amazing interior design, superb breakfast service (thank you, team and Chef Zohra), amazing swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) and spa amenities. I was super happy to celebrate my birthday in the hotel and the staff surprised me in the evening by bringing a cake and champagne to our room. It was such a beautiful gesture I will never forget:) overall, the staff is one of the best I met in my life caring, attentive, responsive and friendly. I recommend Excelsior to anyone who travels to Baku for business or leisure. Ludmila, Ukraine. June 2023.

F1을 보기 위해 트랙 가까이에 많은 페라리와 알파 로메오 팀 스태프도 여기에 살고 있습니다. 기차역 옆에 공항 버스 정류장도 호텔 맞은편에 있으며 지하철역도 5분 거리에 있습니다. 위치는 매우 좋습니다. 5월 28일 쇼핑몰이 근처에 있고 호텔 아침 식사도 매우 좋습니다. 우리가 일찍 도착한 첫날, 아직 방에 들어가지 않았습니다. 프론트 데스크에서 따뜻하게 무료 아침 식사를 먹기 위해 레스토랑에 가자. 방도 매우 크고 주방 설비, 전자 레인지, 거실도 꽤 크고 호텔은 IHG에 속하며 경쟁 기간이 아니므로 가격이 더 높을 것입니다.

Good for family, special if you already have booked a tour guide and he or she can pick you and show you , you dont need a hotel in city center in that case just book it here in sea pearl hotel your all set, We had a smooth experience, hope to visit Azerbaijan and sea pearl hotel again in future. Great price great service.

I am a Marriott Gold member travelled with friends, we chose to stay at Sheraton. The experience and hospitality was absolutely pleasant. We were pleasantly (with a big smile) greeted by Mr Orkhan at the lobby and he was very happy to consider our requests and provided room upgrade and also connected room. The room had a great view and spacious. Orkhan made our experience very delightful. He gave us suggestions on places to see and restaurants to go to. Marriott you have an excellent employee in your hotel, your customers will be well taken care. I will recommend the hotel and stay to family and friends

Уютный отель, хорошее расположение. В номерах чисто, сами номера просторные. Вежливый персонал. Вкусный завтрак, но не совсем разнообразный. В номерах не хватает освещения, так как очень высокие потолки, а лампы на такую квадратуру не тянут)

Персонал на завтраке очень замечательный, подняли настроение. Местоположение отличное Но не понравились платные шапочки в бассейне за 20 манат (это дорого), шапочка для душа не подошла, хотя во всех отелях подходит, настроение было испорчено

This hotel is near to airport and having excellent services. The room is big and contains all amenities. The breakfast could be better but you can enjoy your stay. I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for stay in Baku and complete your stay. All the best!!
