Hotel Margjeka

The star of this hotel is the location which is beautiful. The rooms are basic with no tv and Wi-Fi is really only available in the bar. There is no lift but staff will help with the cases. Staff were friendly. You really will have to eat at the hotel and the food is of a basic nature. The real reason for staying here is the peace and quiet together with the wonderful scenery

I stayed one night with my husband at Margjeka. The owner, Janet, is very friendly and extremely helpful. She helped us with providing info about the winter trail to Theth, and arranging a local guide for that hike. The hotel is right at the start of the hiking trail which is perfect. The restaurant offers simpel but great food. The breakfast is fine.

The staff of the hotel and the owner are very nice and helpfull, they gave us a lot of information about hiking in this area. the resturant is very nice . Breakfast was very good. The dinner was very good too. The view from the rooms was wonderful . The romms are small, simple and clean.

This hotel is in a good location for anyone starting or completing the Theth/Valbone trek (others can be up to 4km down the valley) The rooms are comfortable and clean and the food is ok. We we leaving to travel to the ferry terminal and had the advantage of being first on the busy minibus service due to the hotel’s location. I cannot give 5 stars as it lacks the personal touch of many places I’ve enjoyed in Albania

El hotel está bien situado si pretendes realizar la ruta entre Valbona y Theth. El edificio es muy bonito y tiene buen servicio. La pega es que la habitación que nos tocó, era para cuatro personas y no tenía ducha, simplemente tenía una manguera con un grifo a unos 45 cm delante de la taza del inodoro

Top hotel als startpunt voor de hike naar Theth. Goede ontvangst, aangename en open eetruimte, uitstekend afgewerkt, goede bedden en fijne badkamer. Personeel buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Communicatie erg makkelijk met Duitse eigenaresse. Warm aanbevolen!
