Visited in August with my sister. Great location moments from a beautiful shallow sandy beach and an easy walk along a seafront walkway to the "*****". We stayed in a superior room on All Inclusive basis. Check in efficient and friendly- we had no issues with staff everyone we dealt with was lovely. Room had a great sea view and was large enough for a week. Decor was a bit quirky - loud print on bedding and a bizarre chair in the shape of a naked lady! Nice large mirror and a safe but could do with more wardrobe and drawer space, we had to keep most stuff in our cases. Bathroom had a shower over the bath and was fine but not that modern. Pool wasn't massive but plenty of loungers (no need to get up early) attentive lifeguard, and water was perfect temperature. Padded loungers on terrace but the bar and pool on lower level so we spent most time there. Food was definitely one of the highlights, buffet style with no a la carte restaurants but lots of choice including local dishes, very fresh and clean. Bar service was fine, again we had no problem with guests not on AI being favoured. Two issues we think could be improved: The drinks - there are very limited cocktails included in AI package (mojitos were excellent) and no branded spirits. Unless you pay the mixers are from a tap and quite flat, a gin and tonic with local gin and tonic from the tap was unidentifiable. But AI guests get a discount on drinks so we had a couple each day. The music: the hotel has taken decision to have no live music and the constant heavy drum beats were a bit headache inducing. The DJs didn't seem to care how few people were dancing and seemed to be entertaining themselves rather than the guests. Our final night was excellent with the dj playing Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, funk and disco which got far more people up dancing so we hope the hotel will listen to customer feedback and at least play a wider range of music. We must also commend the staff, bar staff, waiting staff (particularly Santiago), reception etc everyone was efficient, friendly and liked to chat. In my experience treat staff nicely and they are generally nice back. Overall we had a great holiday and would recommend the hotel for location alone. But please change the music policy.

Stayed at NYX for a week with friends, lovely hotel, rooms were nice and the air con good. Staff were lovely and great bar service, drinks were great, most of the drinks we wanted were included with all inclusive except for Aperol Spritz but that was no problem, only 8 euros and they were huge. Food was really good, loads of choice for everyone. Location great, right next to the beach. Nice location to watch the sunset. Cleaners so friendly and tidied our rooms everyday and fresh towels everyday as well. Only one thing that annoyed me was the group of young lads started parting at 5am every morning after coming home from clubbing 😂 but it didnt spoil out holiday and to be expected as its Ibiza. Had a great time.

As I said in title, I visited here last year with my friend and I loved it so much that I wanted to return this year with my husband. The hotel has had a major refurbishment and it is still ongoing as there was work being carried out whilst I was there. The rooms are nice as is the reception area and the pool. The sun terrace on the first floor is also lovely...never had any problems getting a sun bed anytime of the day. The food was lovely, lots of variety and I found it to be of a good temperature. The staff were amazing in the restaurant, always hard working. The sunset chillout area is the highlight of the hotel. The staff are wonderful and the views of the bay are spectacular. The beach is also clean and the sea clear. 3 months before I was due to fly, I had an email saying that the hotel is now a vibe hotel and when you arrive you definitely know that. Hotel was full of groups of young girls and lads. We had constant music in the room next to us from midnight onwards, hearing air canisters going off for them to huff balloons, shouting and screaming the corridors in the early hours. It is such a shame that the hotel is now aimed at the younger crowd. Jet 2 are no longer selling this hotel next year and the All Inclusive option is being discontinued. The hotel in itself is lovely but it is now aimed at short stay and weekend visitors instead of being offered as a holiday hotel. So be warned if you are expecting a quiet, calming holiday at this hotel, you definitely need look elsewhere.

My wife and myself stopped at the NYX hotel for a week and we really could not fault this hotel at all! All the staff were so friendly always there to help especially staff member mimis this man was amazing and would go out his way to help us in anyway and made us the best cocktails. Lovely chilled out atmosphere at this hotel live dj through the day at the pool and a live dj on the upstairs bar on a night with amazing views were you can also watch the sunset over the bay. Rooms were clean and changed regularly air con is good if you leave your spare key in during the day room is freezing once you go back . Would defo go back to this hotel lovely location right on the beach and very short walk to the mayhem. Ocean beach pool party is literally around the corner food was lovely great choice for all really couldn't fault this hotel at all thank you to all the staff at NYX hotel for a great week!!!!

Please please ignore negative reviews!! We had previously read them before visiting and could list that every single one was different to our experience. This hotel is 10/10 the decor, the service and facilities are amazing. We were a couple staying looking to enjoy a good ‘vibe’ hotel but not necessarily engage in the party side of Ibiza and this hotel really did deliver on giving us the Ibiza experience! We booked a ‘comfort room’ with no sea view and our view was still pleasant- we found the hotel room to be spacious and had adequate hanging space in the wardrobe. We were giving extra towels when requested and even when we didn’t - the rooms were cleaned to a good standard and it was clear the floors had been mopped. Our bed linen seemed to be changed once however we had no evidence it just felt fresher one day - if you want your bed linen changed instead of complaining ask the cleaners on your way out they are more than happy to help! The food was lovely and a really high standard for a buffet - there was different themed nights and also standard pizza/pasta for fussy eaters. The drinks were lovely and included branded soft drinks such as coke and Fanta. The staff were really attentive in the dining room and were constantly clearing tables etc. We had no experience of long waits for drinks and would often be waited on by the pool for drinks etc- the drinks selection is vast and although only a handful of cocktails are included in the all inclusive there was enough The highlight of our stay really was the DJs at the sunset bar each night we felt like we were going to a really lovely bar and the plus side being all inclusive all the drinks were ‘free!’ The hotel puts on different themed nights such as flower power and white party - the effort they go to really shows and made such a difference. We are often a couple who get bored staying in the hotel all day/night but this hotel really made us not want to leave incase we were missing out! The pool area also had DJs on some days which was a really nice atmosphere. The pool was also warm which was really nice but did ensure it helped you keep cool in the hot temperatures! The sea was literally steps away and was so beautiful with crystal clear water and white sand. Overall we would 100% recommend this hotel, everyone’s experience is different but please ignore any negative reviews and form your own opinion!

This is the second time to this hotel having previously enjoyed our stay 2 years ago. The new refurbished look is lovely, cannot fault how it looks, the new cat feature is certainly a talking point, it’s huge ! The location is brilliant, the beach is so lovely right next to the hotel with crystal clear water, although one holiday maker put me off going in after saying she had been bitten by a jellyfish in there. The pool isn’t very big but sufficient to cool off at a nice temperature. The floor can get very slippy though. We had a superior sea view room, very comfortable with clean bedding. The room was lovely and cool, you have to leave one room card in the slot to keep cool at all times. We had a lovely cleaner, they were always smiling and asked me every day how I was which I’ll explain later. Staff in restaurant were pleasant and so efficient. Food really nice, always something nice to eat but I have to say could’ve been a bit hotter at times. I enjoyed eating outside for breakfast overlooking the beach. The chill out bar was nice with a dj playing music most nights. Yes it’s aimed at the younger generation but we are in our 50’s/60’s and loved all the sounds. Now, I do have a negative comment about the step coming out of the chill out bar. There is no signage to say there is s step nor any lights around it. I missed my footing 3 days into the holiday where I fell flat on my face badly bruising my legs and sprained my ankle, you can see from the photos the damage that was caused by this. I struggled for the remainder of my stay walking. The bar staff pleaded with me to complain to management to get signs put up as they said it had happened to others. And no, I wasn’t even drunk !!! The other factor is check out rooms. We were told throughout the holiday we could have a late check out room which we checked the day before also and was assured no problem and come back next day which we did only to be told no rooms available, we weren’t leaving till 8.30pm that night and was furious to be bluntly told no rooms available that every single room was booked. I actually booked a separate flight home early rather than sit around all day but as we were leaving was then told we could have our room after all which by then was too late. Duty reception manager was quite rude. We will probably give this hotel a miss for a bit but won’t rule it out in the future.
