호텔 바이에른 바이탈(Hotel Bayern Vital)

I would not talk about the usual stuff, many others have already done that! I will just point out what I would personally improve. The hostel itself is very nice, well placed and the staff generally look professional, with a few exceptions. 1) On arrival you should be given some vouchers. These are not from the hotel but from the city. We were not informed that they would prepare them for us and we could collect them later. We only found out about it by chance when we read the notebook with the information in the room. When we left, the receptionist excused herself on behalf of her colleagues. That was nice to hear. 2) Breakfast ends at 10am. At 10am and 2 minutes past we were asked (in a polite way) to leave as the breakfast time was already over! I understand that we are not supposed to come into the breakfast room or even take food from the bar after 10am, but please be kind and allow me to enjoy my breakfast for a few more minutes after that time. 3) One evening at dinner we could not find a table. They had booked most of the tables for a large group. It was not nice to find that we could not enjoy our dinner, especially when we paid a not cheap price (27 EUR/person) for a buffet plus extra for drinks. So that night, after waiting for some time to get a table for two, we ended up eating three to a table.

This hotel has basic decor. If you’re after luxury, look elsewhere. Think Army barracks level of decor. Breakfast was ok, but the scrambled eggs were congealed and could only be served in slices. The hotel was comfortable enough and the staff polite, but they let me down badly during my extraction to the airport. I requested a reliable taxi for 04:30hrs at the latest to get to Salzburg Airport on time for my flight. I specifically said he can not be late. Taxi arrived at 04:55hrs, nearly missed my flight.

This hotel is so cozy and comfortable. If you travel to Salzburg, I recommend this hotel. Bad Reichenhall is close to that city and there is so cozy. Almost restaurant and market is close to hotel and so good price and taste. Hotel's swimming pool and sauna is also good.

Overall the hotel was clean, the the sofa it our room was worn and dirty. There was no AC but a fan was provided. Breakfast was good. The breakfast staff knew who we were as soon as my husband mentioned his food allergy and they were very accommodating. Finding the parking garage was a bit tricky the first night as it was dark and we were told it was behind the building next door. It was not. It was next door , but the entrance was at the front.

The hotel is old and not cosy, almost conference-like. It is located in a residential complex area. We were so disappointed. We had driven past the finest, charming Gasthof with colorful shutters and flowers on the facade overlooking lakes and mountains. And then we came to this tasteless hotel. The only plus is the indoor pool which the children enjoyed and the bathtub in the room. Fortunately, we had a lovely evening in the city and had delicious wiener schnitzel and weissbier at Bürgerbrau.

Excellent family hotel. Stayed there for 2 days and enjoyed it alot.

Great place to stay. Wish we stayed for more than one night

Had a very comfy room on the 3rd floor. Great panoramic view onto the mountains. Very helpful personel at check in. Wide range of activities possible at and close to the hotel. Tasty breakfasts and good service at the lounge bar. We‘ll come back

Our hotel we had booked turned out to be closed for renovations. We didn't find out until we arrived to check in and it was closed for renovations (Axelmannstein). In a panic, I booked this place for one night, so we'd have a place to sleep. The young woman at the desk was very nice. Parking is underground, for a fee. Once I unlocked our room, my face fell. The room was clean, but very sp****. The painted cinder block walls were a turn off. The safe was old school (using a key). The bathroom was very clean. We were hungry and tired, so we ate at their restaurant (25Euros each). Yikes! The food was very average with a very limited selection-- dry and overcooked duck for the main course. Salads, breads and rice pudding for dessert (my husband won't eat it, but I will). The server was very gracious and kind, I have to say. The bed was comfortable, but I knew we wouldn't stay here for our remaining six day stay. Later that day, I commented to my cousin that the room felt like a hostel (he is born and raised here). He said that the place actually once was a hostel! As far as cleanliness goes, this hotel gets five stars. It just wasn't the caliber of place I prefer. While it's located in a very nice neighborhood, it's not conveniently located to the downtown area that I prefer.
