호텔 루이스(Hotel Luise)

Zimmer sauber und Bett sehr bequem. Beim Frühstück hat es an nichts gefehlt!

The old Hotel Luise building is not well kept, it seems it has not been renovated for a long time. The room we had was really dated and at the end of the corridor, with glass panels surrounding the door, which led directly into the bathroom area, which basically gave no privacy since everybody on the floor could see inside. The room itself was clean, but had a damp smell probably due to the building not having been used for a while and not properly ventilated. The area is quiet, has nice park closeby, at night there is not much noise from the cars passing on the street. The breakfast was good, tasty food with plenty of choices. There is parking space available. Limited English at reception.

This hotel is the perfect retreat for you if you need a break from the daily grind. We stayed from June 10 – 14th, 2022. Room 125 is maybe the smallest room of the hotel Luise, but very cozy. We were impressed by the silence and were awakened in the morning by the cheerful singing of the birds and the cuckoo. The breakfast is across the street in ‘Luise Park’ and includes everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. During the day you can sit in the stylish lobby or on the cozy terrace. From the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the park overlooking the forest. The terrace is perfect for long evenings, enjoying the silence and the birds. A short walk away is the park with the thermal bath and all the treatments you could wish for. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will receive the ‘Pfalz Card’ with which you have free access to multiple activities. For example museums, and swimming pools. Thermal baths, city walks, wine tastings, public transport, and rent a bike, in the region.

We komen hier paar keer per jaar. Altijd goed! Ruime kamer. Ontbijt is goed. Eigen gemaakte jogger en kwark, met en zonder vruchten. Verse Duitse broodjes, eieren verschillend aangeboden. Beleg etc altijd smakelijk. Odin bepaalde seizoenen is er gratis entree voor de therme. Dit gaat via de pfalzcard.

Wir hatten ein Upgrade ins Hotel Luisenpark vor Ort gebucht. Gute Abwicklung der Umbuchung zu adäquaten Konditionen. Die Ruhe durch den Kurpark und der Balkon haben mich überzeugt dieses DeLuxe Zimmer zu buchen.

Zimmer war sehr sauber, Bett bequem. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt kaum Wünsche offen, auch die Auswahl ist super. Konnten schon morgens einchecken. Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich. Bad im Economy Zimmer ist sehr klein und komplett mit Plastik verkleidet, ähnlich Ibis Budget oder Travelodge. Es gibt jede Menge kostenlose Parkplätze. Besucht man die Therme, kann man das Auto stehen lassen und kann die 400 Metern durch den park gehen. Frühstück gibt es im gegenüberliegenden Hotel. Bei Regen nicht so schön über die Straße zu gehen. WLAN ist nicht passwortgeschützt.

Abstieg zu früher: Frühstück ist nicht mehr im Glas – Rondel!":(Fremd-Gäste willkommen!) Stattdessen muss der aktiell kritisierte 'Jugendherbergsähnliche Saal' genossen werden, rel. schäbig! Auch das Essen ist billiger denn je, was schade ist. Wir waren viermal hier, in alter Heimat:!Garten(-Kübel) könnten mit einfachsten Mitteln 'dekoriert' werden, das seit Jahren: Sie waren immer kahl, zu jeder Jahreszeit!! Frühstücksrondell hat es einmal gerettet, aber jetzt wirkt es wie "80Jahre, Kroatien, sozialistisches Hotel": Pardon, aber das retten auch keine alten Monroe oder Hepburn Fotos.

Hotel is gezellig en proper. Kamers zijn verzorgd en dagelijks op orde gezet. Het ontbijt is lekker maar pover. Chocobroodjes en croissants moet je niet verwachten. Maar dan…het avondeten. 5 Au bain-Maries en that’s it..zielige vertoning. Als je geluk hebt, heb je iets op je bord. Want dagelijks staan de hyena’s in de startblokken om alles te plunderen. En de bakken worden amper bijgevuld. Droevige zaak.
