Sangaiwe Tented Lodge

Wow an amazing view from the cabins, the pool and the restaurant area. Very nice staff and good with kids. We enjoyed all the food in the morning and evening, and we appreciated the water in the lunch box. Despite of confusement with the rooms we got help from the staff and they found a great solution for our family.

Great lodge with swimmingpool. The staff is very friendly. The tent was very nice. Food is good. It is a nice place to stay with beautiful views. Tarangire National Park is beautiful and a must visit. We definitely recommend staying at this lodge.

Me and my mother went to Tanzania for a safari for the first time this year. Sangaiwe tented lodges were an amazing place we stayed at. We are French, so quite exigent, but Sangaiwe was the perfect stay for our first night on the safari. The lodges are intimate yet spacious, very comfortable (nice bed, hot water for as long as you need). The food was delicious and the staff at the restaurant was very nice. The light (morning sunrise and sunset) is just beautiful at Sangawei because the lodges are in the middle of the jungle. You can hear elephants and hyenas at night. Thank you !

Hi guys What a treat. Very spacious "room". Supurb view. At night you will hear lions, hyena's, zebra's. Close to the gate. No tea or coffee maker. Breakfast, very good. Lunchbox, very good. Diner, delicieux You can order a drink, they will bring it to your tent. And then, relax. Enjoy the view. best regards schliek

This is an off grid lodge, 100% solar. They do a very good job managing their power. We never had an issue and there was adequate lighting all night if needed. There was plenty of hot water for showers, even in the morning. There was adequate ventiliation in the unit and the views are outstanding. The staff are very friendly. The pool was nice, but cloudy. The restaurant was good and they had the best beer prices of all of the lodges we stayed at. The location is excellent, very close to a quieter park entrance. The only weak part was the lunch. The choices were slim.

Great location, with friendly helpful staff, as for glamping the tented room was great. Our biggest concern been elderly, there was a lot of walking up and down dale on uneven paths. During dark hors you needed a guide from the restaurant and your room. Also wifi wasn’t available in the rooms plus no tea or coffee making function in the room due to relying on solar. Didn’t go hungry for dinner and breakfast
