Atlantica SunGarden Beach

Thank you for making my holiday in Sungarden GREAT again. In the last 25 years I was there, I think, 6 or 7 times and no complains at all. Excellent location, views, ammenities and staff. Thanks Ana, Andreas and All of you. Will be back soon. I have already recommended this place to many people and they were all happy.

We are just returning from a week at this hotel, 2 adults 2 children (7 & 14) I’ve never wrote a review before but I felt I needed to this time. The hotel is lovely, great location with easy walk into Ayia Napa and lovely walk across the cliff front to a lovely beach with crystal clear sea. Food was great, different theme every evening and always something for all of us to eat (littlest is fussy and lived off pasta but she was happy) pools were great, we stayed by the oasis pool as that’s where the music was and the kids could go crazy, the other was a relaxation pool which still seemed lovely. Evening entertainment there wasn’t a huge amount but we sat in the meridian bar and listened to the live singers and played cards. The main reason for leaving the review is due to the staff, I can honestly say I have never been anywhere with such friendly and helpful staff, they genuinely go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay but they also seem very happy in their jobs and work well as a team. Thomas was great in the evenings getting up and showing off his moves on the dance floor to the live music, Ana always happy and ensuring we were well fed and watered, Itsi with a smile plastered to his face and Reshad went out of his way to talk to us whenever he saw us. The cleaning ladies were also amazing and so were the reception team who kindly moved us to a new room on day 1 as ours was a little snug. The team never stop working and do some very long shifts but you would never know! We have never returned to a hotel before but I feel Atlantica Sungarden Beach will be the first we do. We are a family of 6 with a 9 year old and a 12 year old girls and parents in 70’s. The reception is nice, staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean. We went for a suite, ours has 2 bedrooms a living room, 2 bathrooms and 3! Balconies with beautiful sea views. The pools are nice and the food is good with lots of choice. There are lots of weddings at the hotel and loud music until 11.30pm ish. The beach is a 5 min walk away and lovely but difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Drinks are fine, no brands. Entertainment is poor for families… some bad singers and a mini disco where the girl running it hasn’t made a play list on her Iphone so the kids are stood waiting for ages between each song 😂. I get the feeling the hotel is trying to be a catch all catering for weddings, families, couples. We wouldn’t come back due to the poor entertainment. Our kids are too young for Ayia napa and there are only so many family card games you can play together, we have been to other AI hotels that tick all our boxes. Lots of reviews say the same not sure the hotel are bothered? Such a shame as it is lovely and they would have got return customers in us just by changing this. Bed on our holiday by 9.30pm is a bit boring …shame as we love a dance.

Beautiful hotel. Staff were so friendly especially in the restaurant and bars. Food was incredible and lots of choice too. Hotel was really clean and had a choice of pools and lots of sunbeds. Good quiet location so away from the busy ayia napa nightlife. However if you want it it’s there. There’s a bus stop opposite the hotel and buses are very cheap

Stayed here for a week with my partner and 3 year old. Read recent reviews raveing about the food and saying how wonderful it was so we were very excited. It was also quite expensive for a week away so was expecting great things. But the best thing about the hotel is the staff. All very friendly and polite. The food was very very average. Typical mass produced buffet food. The quality I'd expect from maybe a 3 star cheapy resort. It was never super busy which was nice compared to some all inclusive I've been to before but the quality was poor. I genuinely couldn't believe the reviews that had been left compared to what we were being provided with. The only positive was the 'a la carte' food which was actually quite nice. But this is just a room attached to the main restaurant so nothing fancy and doesn't give you that feeling of eating else where like you get with most themes a la carte restaurants. Breckfast was OK but the evening food was not up to sratch. We didn't eat there at lunch times so cant comment in what that was like. There are stations with warmed pizza and hot dogs at the pools. Again, very average and cheap. They also had chicken, ham and cheese sandwiches and tuna wraps at the bars you cokd help yourself too. Chicken and tuna were fine. Ham and cheese not very good. Single slice of both. They also have large tubs at the pools with large spoons in containing crisps and popcorn. The ice cream was awful. Clearly they package their own from larger tubs and it's rock hard just poor quality. Not good. Lucky there are 2 shops 1 minute away tonget some tody ice cream if you want them. The more lively pool could do with a clean but was large and my 3 year old spent all day in there. The entertainment was also very poor. May as well have not existed. There were a total of 3 acts that were rotated all week. One male and female act was on 3 times out of 7. This is no way suitable for a family as advertised. It gave off cheap working mens clubs vibes. Any time I popped my head in there were a max of 12 people in there and it was dead. We ended up going out to the local town every night for some life. We walked in and got a taxi back each night. 10 euro to get back. Most people seemed to sit in the reception/ bar area or on the verander area that overlooked the pool. They did have some facepainting and a 30 minute mini disco for kids but that was it. Overall we had a nice enough week, but it wasn't worth the money. Food not good, entertainment awful, nothing to keep kids occupied. Wouldn't return or recommend unless you had a bargain and just wanted some sun. Views out to see were however lovely and beach was ten mins walk along a path.

Stayed for a couple of weeks in this hotel before. Shorter stay this time and couldn't afford the swim up room we had before but still had sea view. Lovely spot for a hotel, you can walk into the action of ayia napa but local area is peaceful and appealing. Food is great here so no need to look elsewhere for food. Staff friendly and very helpful. Entertainment is not the best but that's not really that important with ayia napa a short walk away. Perhaps cleanliness not quite as good as last visit but good nevertheless. Will very likely return again

From the moment we arrived in reception, the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a swim .up room, which were spotless and spacious, maid service every day. The restaurant and pool bar staff were friendly and professional. Nothing is too .much trouble for the team here. The tui rep is very helpful. The food is delicious, something for everyone,loved how drinks were ordered from.your table. Beautiful view of the beach. There are 3 beaches within walking distance, took us 20 minutes to nissi beach and 20 mins to ayia napa harbour. Plenty of sunbeds around the hotel. The snackbar had plenty of choice such as wraps, salads, yoghurts, cakes, biscuits, pizza, burgers, wedges and fries. Lovely hotel with lovy staff. Would definitely recommend.

We loved it! Fantastic hotel. We were given a larger room than what we expected/booked. The staff are amazing and a real credit to the hotel, everyone was so lovely and friendly especially towards our 10 month old daughter. She loved waving at all the staff in the restaurant! I would say it's one of the best food in an all inclusive that we have stayed in, food was delicious, hot and fresh no matter what time we went and the al la carte food was fantastic, a nice surprise as usually these can be a bit underwhelming. Definitely worth booking that during your stay. There was also a large selection of drinks available within the AI and the staff would be happy to make anything else if you asked. We were also impressed with the effort that goes into the level of cleanliness at the hotel, especially our room each day, in the restaurant and around the pools. The location was beautiful, right on the edge of Aiya Napa with perfect views out over the sea with the beach just a few minutes walk away and the bus stop literally across the road to take you into town or other nearby towns. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we loved it!!

Second stay here! Absolutely love it. Myself and my friend (age 25 & 28) cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff are so friendly, the food is outstanding for an all inclusive, rooms are always immaculate. Only thing to mention is the entertainment isn’t great however that didn’t bother us as we didn’t sit and watch it. Would definitely recommend hiring a quad bike or buggy to go around the island as it is so beautiful. We will be back, again!
