더 프린스즈 하우스 호텔(The Prince's House Hotel)

因為離格列芬南高架1km多一點，第二天要去格拉斯哥，不想到威廉堡這段路反覆開，所以選擇住這裏 但周圍沒什麼步行可達的超市 房間很乾凈，我媽説她這家的衞生間台盆，杯子是我們英國住下來算是最乾淨的，所以衞生還是很不錯的 工作人員很熱情！早飯也蠻豐盛的 但房間設施有點老，而且單人床很小，杯子也小，相對1k多的單間，2k多的雙人間來説性價比不高

This hotel is a very cozy and small hotel that probably qualifies as bed & breakfast except that their restaurant is also open for dinner to the general public. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a radiator for heating (and cooling). The bathroom was nice and clean. I think the water may have been naturally sourced, given its color, but that's not an issue and drinking water was provided in the room. You should remove your shoes and use the provided slippers. Bathrobes were also provided. The food for dinner and breakfast was very good. Everything was very fresh and of the highest quality, beautifully prepared and delicious. The atmosphere is great, and I especially liked the paintings displayed in the breakfast room. We only stayed one night but this was easily the best hotel experience we had while traveling there.

This gamely run hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in . It's run by husband and wife the husband is the chief the food is amazing breakfast was gorgeous fresh baked bread muffins pastries all home baked scrambled egg was amazing as well as black pudding ate there both nights duck was amazing gorgeous fish dishes husband has venison both nights all produceis local and the food is cooked with passion the service is fantastic so friendly and warm beds so comfy old China cups and lovely old style deco shower was so hot and powerful . Has 9 bedrooms so not a very big hotel which is an advantage all I can say is if u want not just good but amazing food service cleanliness etc then this is the hotel for you

Went for 2 nights we had the wee room on the top floor, not much headroom . The room was an ok size had tv,shower no bath, bed was so comfee . Dressing gowns and slippers in the room. Free products for the shower. Coffee making facilities in your room including decaff tea and coffee. The place is very remote and we eat in there restaurant on the first night. I had the special, ribs unfortunately they were not great very tough and couldn't eat them, but everyone else's meals were good. They have a bar that opens till 11pm and a pool table. Breakfast was included and was lovely. You could choose off a menu and a good selection, including full English. Basket of bread and blueberry muffins on the table. Staff were lovely very friendly to us. The only negatives were * hairdryers was too hot as hair friezes, take your own. * shower power is very poor and if someone else is using it somewhere it goes to a drip. * the price, very expensive for a very wee room. Bigger toom was over £100 more. Just half a mile away is the lake and viaduct that was used in the second Harry Potter film worth a look and it has a pay and display car park.

This is a great spot. The folk who run it are charming and warm. The food was very nice and what a whisky selection, pleasantly peaty! . Car park across the road works well. Breakfast in the restaurant was superb. Very near all the main attractions in the town too. Room was very nice. Would definitely revisit. Emmet and Valerie, Dublin.

The service was quite slow apparently due to a shortage of staff. My starter was dropped on the floor and the main course of slow rib of beef was tough, chewy and still rather red on the bone. It was extremely fatty as well. Although an extensive wine list they are expensive. Not over exciting decor quite plain really. We will not be returning.

The Princes House is unassuming from the outside and modest as you enter. Don't let that fool you, from check in to check out we had an outstanding stay with these folks. The room was clean, comfy and quiet. Drinks, dinner and breakfast were among the best we had during our month long travels. The staff bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and meet your needs. The location is convenient to local attractions and for you Harry Potter fans, the long trestle the Jacobite train takes on its journey is not far from the Princes House if you want to photograph it from the ground as many people do. Can't say enough good things about this hotel and their team, highly recommend you stay with them. One note, their parking is across the street and may have a "Closed" sign or similar when you arrive, park there anyway, they do this to avoid unauthorized users.

We were unable to find accommodation in Fort William this year so looked further a field. So glad we did. Outstanding service from first entering the hotel to our departure. The rooms are scrupulously clean and well appointed. Food offer in the bistro was also delicious and again service faultless. We’ll certainly be back. Thank you.

Don't be put off by the description of the "wee room". It was lovely! Perhaps they are setting expectations as it is tucked up under the eves. However, it has a lovely window and a skylight that was perfect for a rainy night. The food was a surprise as well. Delicious, fresh, and almost everything homemade. The mussels tasted like they were caught that day. The breakfast in the morning was terrific as well. Smoked salmon from the local fish monger with scrambled eggs. What's not to like?
