호텔 앳워터(Hotel Atwater)

Check in was very smooth. My girlfriend and I were pretty hungry when we arrived and saw The Original Anthony’s across the street , luckily the front desk has a storage area/ bell closet they will hold your luggage free of cost while you are away. Great location , clean clean rooms, water pressure and quality was luring , and great Concierge service for extra towels and whatever you may need. Breakfast is available to preorder for the next day, via QR code . We will have to take advantage of that next time .

Only good thing that came out of this was Molly but me and my significant other waited literally waited 4 hours for a VERY subpar room. The cleanliness was amazing and the maids do deserve a raise for their cleaning services, but the customer service at the front desk was nothing special at all, ALICIA or Alyssa whatever her name is was terrible. I was told she was a new hire but my thing is that we’re not kids, we all know what good customer service IS. She needs to grow up and get re trained, very disappointing and a joke to be honest. It seems like everybody that flooded that lobby got checked in before us and I booked my room WAY in advance, and I know there’s no way all those people had the same booking time as us. DO NOT book here.

This place was wonderful! The recent renovation has everything feeling very clean and modern. Our king room was comfortable and there’s very little sound coming from other rooms. Staff was efficient and friendly. Mentioned it was our anniversary when checking in and found a wonderful gift in our room. Probably one of the nicest places in Avalon.

This is our 3rd time to Catalina and we absolutely love the Atwater Hotel! It’s recently remodeled and beautiful inside. The rooms are a nice size and super clean. The staff is friendly. The location is ideal! Stay here!

Clearly location is the most convenient thing about the property but the wonderful staff also standout in the review of Hotel Atwater. Professional, courteous and kind is how I would sum up the staff.

We absolutely loved the Hotel Atwater. It was beautifully maintained, and the staff were lovely. We especially appreciate how kind Lily was with the two younger children on our trip who had proposed working for the front desk. She gave them "jobs" to do and helped them make name tags. They had a blast playing and it kept them busy and learning. She was truly wonderful!

This hotel was very beautiful and modern and in a great location. The staff was amazing friendly and the amenities were great. They gave us a $20 credit a day to use towards food or drinks. The only downside is that the floor of 2nd story including our room seemed to sloped and not leveled. My daughter and I noticed this immediately and thought we were just dizzy from the boat ride. As I have a very sensitive equilibrium, I asked to switch rooms but unfortunately there were none available. We were able to move to their sister hotel a few blocks down, but this hotel was not as nice as the Hotel Atwater.

I loved the hotel so much it was so convenient for eveything I wanted to go on the island. The check in process was terrible!!!! I got on the island at 9:30am and asked if I could check in early the lady at the desk said nothing was available and she would text me since I did check in so early they would try and get me a room as quickly as they could. I then went on a tour of the island 4 hours later I wanted to get my bags I had left with the desk at the hotel because I wanted to head to the beach so I wanted to change. Then while I was sitting in the lobby I then saw about 3 party’s check in and the same lady who told me my room was not ready let all those guest know their room was ready and was happy to give them their check in early so I was confused a little so then I went up to her and asked if there was any updates on my room and she told me to my face no so I walked away because I was very unhappy that I checked in earlier then those guest and my room was not ready. When I got back in line to have the desk hold my bags again because my room was not ready still… the lady at the front next to the other lady I had said nothing to her and she said your room is ready and I was confused because a minute ago the other lady said no to me but now it’s ready when the other lady said no a minute ago to my face!! Interesting!! I understand I look very young and I am young but it was my birthday that day and I had put that in my notes and I got nothing of good service!!
