After a long drive, I booked a King room on *******. When we arrived, we were offered a Queen bed. I declined and ended up w 2 Queens. We were given the very last room on tge 2nd floor, so a walk was involved. In tge elevator there was a man who had pushed tge 3rd floor button but got off on our floor and watched us from around the corner. I had my young daughter w me. The keycards didn’t work. So I rushed her down the stairs to an empty front desk. We finally got new cards. We walked carefully to our room and passed another man walking through the halls castle looking both ways. We were nervous after that. Our room had flies, the toilet didn’t flush, there were no USB ports to charge a cell phone, tge clicks were both wrong, there were old blood stains on the lamp shade. Tge bed was uncomfortable w a mattress topper thrown on top. We were too nervous to step out again and it was late so we just pushed the chair to the door and went to sleep. At checkout, the manager was called about my concerns. He told me he could refund $44 plus tax only but that ******* would take it all. He then said it would be better to take his card and get a discounted stat in the future.
