Hotel was filthy. Carpets stained stains on the hallway walls, dirt/dust in carpets lights not cleaned, room carpet not vacuumed (toe nail clipping everywhere - yuck!), bathroom missing toiletries - when asked at front desk said housekeeping would replace, but never showed - had to go to front desk to get them, garage lobby had broken glass in doors, was filthy and stained. Facilities looked run down and had not been cleaned/refreshed in years. Clientele was also low quality. Room had adjoining door that was paper thin - had trouble going to sleep and was awakened early due to noise next door. room did not have enough outlets, bed had stains. By far the worse hotel experience I have ever had. next time I will stay at the Tropicana - maybe you should visit it to get ideas to make your hotel more accommodating.

The room was dirty , no soap , and the room next to my room ,u can hear all the *** noise all night, u could not sleep , and at the time no 1 was at the front desk, 2am in the morning . Report it at check out .

Warning. Do not waste your money. Terrible customer service. Dirty, run down and I will never stay or recommend anyone to stay there. The owner needs to put some money into renovating this place. It could be a real gem for families. Instead it’s a money pit. It had duck tape keeping the carpet down, a restaurant being “renovated”. I use that term loosely as it looked like pure laziness on their part. Run down carts to take your luggage up, and an outdated system to buy your waterpark tickets. Awful. Just plain, yuck!!!

There was no remote to the Tv I called room service I asked for a remote remote control I received the remote control about a half hour later And the remote control didn’t work I immediately called the from desk for a bout an hour and there was no answer

I came to celebrate my granddaughter 10th bday. We went to water park. It was amazing. Staff was friendly & helpful

I didn’t like the room because it was a conjoining and the other guest next to mine was very loud all night. Didn’t get any sleep. And also when I opened the closet it was a roach in there I killed it.

Good place for activities with family, rooms are not update. Old hallways and dirty on some places. Near boardwalk was a plus, indoor water park was excellent

We got the suite on the 24th floor. This hotel suite was nice, but had a few hygiene issues like roaches and moldy peeling wallpaper. There was melted candlewax on the jacuzzi edge, and the jacuzzi jets blew out some kind of debris that looked like dirt and dead roaches. We were scammed with a resort fee that basically covered only a slow wifi connection and housekeeping. The room safe did not work, and the sliding doors in the room did not close all the way. The pool was not open, and they will never reopen the pool here due to the fact they want to incentivize guests to visit the waterpark. Waterpark was the highlight of the trip and was very fun. Would visit again in the future but not as a hotel guest. Their waterpark and arcade is the highlight of the visit to the Showboat. I understand its an old hotel, and they no longer have the same revenue stream they once did from the ******, but changes need to be made to improve the hygiene issue and lower the resort fee to cover wifi and housekeeping. Also, there are floors in this building that are completely deserted. I hope they turn them into something profitable to bring in more money to improve QoL for hotel guests in the future.

1-The parking system is ridiculous. You need to have a cell phone to park, there are no attendants if you need help. 2-We got to the hotel around 5 with the check in line wrapped around the ropes 3 times. (Check in started at 4). We stood there 15 minutes with the line not moving at all. We left and visited a ****** in the area and came back a few hours later to check in. The wait wasn’t too bad then. 3-we we’re given our room and told to go “go down that way to the elevator “. There were 2 elevators and only one was the right elevator. There was a guard standing there never asking to see our room keys as we proceeded to get on the wrong elevator. When we finally got to the right elevator to our room, I was surprised to see how dingy the hallway was. The room was just as bad. It was very dirty looking and There were so many stains in the carpet I didn’t want to take off my shoes. We weren’t very happy with the room or the hotel. We will not stay there again.

Book the king suite for my son bday. The door that divides the other side of the room was broke. Pull out matress felt like a jail bed. For that price thought room would be better

Had a great time with my family, it was my daughters birthday and she had an amazing time at showboats new water park

The water park at Showboat Atlantic City was amazing. The hotel rooms were not upgraded and were not up to standards as they stated they were remodeled. New Orleans tower was not updated and remodeled. The door needed to be pulled shut or pushed open as if it was warped or not properly on hinges the correct way.The service at the hotel was horrible. 1-2 people at front desk said they were understaffed. I would definitely do the water park again but will not be staying at the hotel again.

Room was gross, the carpets in the hallway are gross. The rooms technically aren’t as cheap as they seem because there’s a resort fee. Waterpark and arcade are amazing but I would definitely not stay at the hotel again. They don’t even give a bar of soap to wash your hands and they don’t answer the phone EVER. Trip.com gave me a “vip” number and no one answered that either.
