We booked a room at the Glenn due to its proximity to an event we were attending downtown and a planned family dinner. It was our first trip with 6 month old daughter, so a lot of planning went into the trip to make sure everything worked out. However, when we got to the Glenn, we were told they saw our reservation on file but had no room for us. We waited for an hour for a manager to address the situation. The manager never spoke to us; the clerk just sent us out on the streets with a 6 month old to go to another hotel. Apparently this happens often enough at the Glenn that they have a term for it. They call it a "Walk," but you have to drive to get to another hotel. So we were forced to feed our daughter in a parking deck instead of a hotel room, then fight traffic to get to another hotel. By the time we did, it was so late, we were unable to meet with family for the planned dinner. We were told that a manager would call us the next day to "make things right." We never received a phone call.
