무슈 디도(Monsieur Didot)

Monsieur Didot is a small, charming B&B in the middle of the quiet residential Kolonaki quarter. It´s just a short walk to Lycabettus hill, the city center, Syntagma Square, etc., and the metro is at 800 metres. Convenient, special, atypical, wonderful - that is a stay at Monsieur Didot. In-room service includes breakfast (you fill in a form the day before with your breakfast wishes). We loved the interiors, it´s elegant and chic. The rainshower is a big plus, as is the bed where you sleep like a lion. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Incredible bed (I slept much more than at home), fantastic breakfast, and a luxurious stay in a nice setting. We stayed in the Sonnet Room, which has a hidden bathroom. The breakfast is brought to your room. The interiors of this place are stylish without pretention. Very nice staff. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Lovely hotel, rooms were beautiful! Service was faultless and the breakfast was delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night!

This was such a great place to stay! We tend to stay away from the super busy parts of town when we travel because we prefer a quieter spot at night and we don’t mind doing some walking. Monsieur Didot was perfectly located for us, a sweet boutique hotel, tucked away, yet walkable to any place we wanted to go. The hotel itself is small, but it’s lovely. The room (the Sonnet room) was a nice size and the bathroom was a surprise - it is behind the bookcase! The room was well appointed and very clean with a comfortable bed. And we weren’t disappointed because it was quiet at night, making it easy to fall asleep after a full day of walking and sightseeing. The hotel gives you plenty of options for breakfast, delivered to your room, so you can have exactly what you want (and it was very good!). On our last day, we had to leave at 5 a.m., so they prepared us box breakfasts to take to the airport, which we really appreciated because there wasn’t much open at that hour. Finally, the staff was really wonderful to work with. We were dealing with a lost baggage issue with Aegean Air and it was getting down to the wire where we didn’t think we’d be reunited with the bag. They spent time calling on our behalf and even calling a friend who worked at the airport in the hopes they might have alternative numbers for Aegean. They truly went above and beyond.

We loved our stay. Caring and thoughtful hosts. Lovely rooms spacious and well appointed. Thank you Monsieur Didot for being one of our favourite parts of our Athens holiday

I loved everything about this hotel - our room (top floor, The Ode), the bed, the location - everything. But, best of all was the kind service from Lena on Front Desk. She is as welcoming and helpful as you hope from a hotel but rarely encounter. She elevated our stay from great to truly fantastic.
