베스트 웨스턴 플러스 앰버시 호텔(Best Western Plus Embassy Hotel)

객실 장식과 레이아웃은 상대적으로 오래되어 국내 4성급 호텔보다 훨씬 나쁩니다. 서비스는 열정적이지 않고 심지어 차갑습니다. 음식은 매우 단조롭고 다양성이 거의 없으며 매일 완전히 반복됩니다. 우연히 맞은편 건물을 수리할 시간이 되어서 그런지 매일 공사하는 동안 너무 시끄러웠고, 대형 건설차량도 지나가고 있어서 조금 위험했습니다. 근처에 유지 보수 작업이 진행되고 있다는 것을 알았더라면 이 호텔을 예약하지 않았을 것입니다. 환경은 상대적으로 멀고 지하철역과 가깝지 않습니다. 미국대사관에서 멀지 않아서 대사관 베스트웨스턴 호텔이라 불린다.

Positive - excellent location - airport bus stop is about 5 mins walk - Metro connection is about 10 mins walk to city center - Several restaurants, takeaway, supermarkets nearby - Excellent staff and very helpful - Bathrobes, toiletries, slippers are provided - Decent breakfast - Decent balcony Things for improvement - Very old fashioned room, requires refurbishment. - Balcony is ok, all you can see is a construction building - Very noisy in the morning due to the construction work in front building - The lifts are very tiny - The carpets look very old - I feel the hotel is pricey for the quality of the room/stay

Overall good. Clean and spacious rooms (but rooms, especially in bathroom area should be renovated). What a pity the moquette in the aisles. Very good service. Breakfast quite poor. Right if price is right.

Stayed here for two nights. Nothing to criticize. I’ll note that while the breakfast was OK, the breakfast room is a bit small and you can be very close to your neighbor’s table. If you like privacy, eat early when its not busy. The location was good for me as I am a walker, and walking from the property to Athen’s main sites was very doable for me (noting that this stay was in November). My goal for the trip was to use public transportation as much as possible. I took the Metro from the airport to the Ambelokipi station. No transfers involved. But it is a bit of a walk with luggage as the sidewalks are a bit narrow and uneven. If I did it again, I’d go to the Music Hall station, a bit more of a walk, but all of the sidewalks are wide and easily manageable.

Very nice place to stay in Athens, close to Embassy if you need to go there. We only stayed one 1 night before we flew to Santorini, but it was clean and all employees were extremely nice to us! They have breakfast included .

The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly, beds are comfortable and clean. Room is spacious and has everything you need. Breakfast more then sufficient. Very close to downtown Athens, only a few subway stops. Unfortunately, just as we got here, the apartments across the street were beginning to be renovated, so when you open the window for fresh air, you’ll hear banging, clathering and other loud sounds. It’s too bad because it would normally be a very quiet street. This is of course is out of the hotels control but just sending a heads up out there. Not sure how long the renovations will go on, and they do stop in the evening. Also, the internet cuts in and out all day, but great when working. The shower and bathroom is spacious but our room only had a hand held nozzle and no accessory to hang shower nozzle over head.

Best Western Plus Embassy Hotel is mid-way between the metro stations of Ambelokipi and Megaro Moussikis, on metro line 3, connecting Athens International Airport to the city centre. Both metro stations can be reached in 7-8 minutes walking from the hotel. The four points I'm giving this hotel are an average between the three points for the room, and the five points for service: - my room was very good and big, with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom, but the room was quite dark and electric lights were needed also during the day. Air conditioning was efficient but noisy, and insulation from outside noise was not good. Luckily enough the hotel is located on a side street with little traffic, so noise from outside was a problem just on early morning, when the works started in the building opposite the hotel. Wi-fi was often very slow and sometimes not available. - Service was very good: staff were efficient and helpful, and breakfast was very good with several choices available.

Beautiful clean hotel within walking distance from Lycabettus Hill and the subway station. The staff were very helpful in arranging a car for us. Clean safe area. I would definitely recommend this hotel

(actually visited Aug 2022) Check-In was smooth and room decor was modernized with a fancy blast from the past feel with the red couch available haha Breakfast was good Location does feel a little bit out of the way but you are not far from the main intersection and is a very short walk Shoutout to John for checking us in and for all the ice buckets we requested almost nightly!
