Price is expensive for a motel. No free breakfast and limited parking. Near highway and 15mins drive to downtown.

Overall this was a nice 2 night stay for the price. Beds were comfortable, mini fridge came in handy, bathroom was clean but small.

This motel was actually perfect for what we needed - just a place to stop and sleep for the night on a longer road trip. The property was obviously recently renovated. The beds were really comfortable, and overall the room was clean, BUT it smelled like an ashtray. Like it had been inhabited by chain smokers for 10 years and never cleaned. So that ******.

The pictures don’t tell the truth. Biggest issue wasn’t that it’s misrepresented as a modernized mid-tier hotel establishment but that the cost of a night is almost double the rate it should be. This was and virtually is a budget in. While the paint is modernized all of the furnishing is literally falling apart. It was a nice looking design choice but a poor understanding of material usage. IKEA furniture is not made sturdy. It’s made for a single user under normal wear. Then entire room is furnished with this weak cardboard plywood piecing that separates saga and no longer connects on right angles. Our item would just slide right off the side tables because they leaned down so much. Same as the nook for luggage. The shower was missing a shower door. Rather inconvienrnt, uncomfortable and poor design choice for stopping any black mold from taking hold or a fungal growth around corners of walls and toilet. Bring your own toilet paper, trust me. Pack your own towels because there is bare minimum available. The mini fridge was completely frozen over as if it hadn’t been checked or cleaned this year. The door didn’t even shut tight because of it. I defrosted it myself and needed to use about all but one shower and hand toweling to stop the draining. There was no cable television, only local free broadcasting stations. Fine in a $40-60 hotel. All of these issues belong to a hotel that knows it’s place and does what they can. Asheville Inn was unhelpful, uncaring and cost more than a holiday inn or any country inn & suites. *** AND NOT EVEN A FREE BREAKFAST AVAILABLE NOR WAS THERE AN IN ROOM COFFEE MAKER*** Ridiculously poor experience and I left with a feeling of being taken advantage of.

During check-in I could not see the final bill, and the clerk said he would email me my receipt. I told him I preferred it right then and he printed it out for me. The room was very clean, bed very soft, small refrigerator, very small microwave. ALL very good and nice. The only other negative was that the sink was very slow to drain. Over the past 25 years, I have stayed here perhaps six times. The Asheville Inn has always been a refreshing place to stay, decent prices with very quiet and clean rooms!

Not clean. Bedspread had stains and had to sweep the floor when we arrived. Also there was a large gap underneath the door and the water was very slow to run out of the sink. There was an ice bucket but didn't see anywhere to get ice. No towel rods for after showering.

It’s not a worth of money to spend so much and having such property in real.

Room reeked of smoke. Flush handle came off toilet. Not even a room coffee maker. When I went to desk to say handle fell off, was treated rudely. Had to fight for refund to cancel second prepaid night.

This was overall OK. Inside had enough space and convenient storage, mini fridge, microwave. You have to be rung into the office which makes the area seem pretty sketchy (it’s right off a major road kind of down in a pit). They had Wi-Fi but it didn’t work and wouldn’t even connect to one of my devices. There was something weird and scaly in the bathroom sink (think shrimp skin) that I had to pull out with scissors. The bed was comfy (and extra tall, I had to climb in tho I am average size) and the noise was minimal so that was nice. I tried working at the desk but the desk is so high that when I sat it’s impossible to use with the provided chair. Overall lukewarm to the place, but it was cheap so there’s that.
