호텔 포른 노우(Petit Hotel Forn NOU)

We contacted Hotel Forn Nou wanting to stay in May. We initially received a reply from someone called Toni but information in his response differed from the information on the hotel's website, particularly regarding the free cancellation period. In the email they said up to 30 days, where as on their website it said if you take the flexible rate it is free up to 1 day. We also asked them to clarify issues regarding the bathroom which they didn't respond to. We were holding a flight so immediately emailed back asking them to clarify the situation.We received no reply so, as we did not want to miss out on our flight, we tried two more times and again no one replied. I would add that another member of the family also tried and experienced exactly the same, i.e. they received an initial response but when they asked the hotel to clarify details, no response was received. In view of lack of clarification we felt unable to book and therefore no longer able to secure our flight at a sensible price. We are very disappointed particularly as the hotel mentions how good their customer service is; this was certainly not our experience!

Welcome good. Room excellent. En-suite shower little small. Staff helpful. Good selection on buffet breakfast. Dinner wasn’t a success! Roof top garden wonderful. Comfortable, shady and magnificent views. Well placed for exploring Artà and surrounding area.

Absolutely the most gorgious place to stay in Artà. Fine design everywhere. Great food with extra low price for it was a gastronomic enjoyment. High quality staff informal politeness.

We had the best time possible in the Forn Nuo hotel in Arta!! Beautifully designed rooms and common areas with a rooftop terasse and a small pool. Amazing view over Arta and the sea. Delicious breakfast with very friendly staff. Definitely a recommendation if you want to enjoy Mallorca outside the most touristy areas but still have walking-distance access to everything you need.

Really nice restaurant with an extensive menu. Went with friends who were visiting us in Arta. Was really busy when we went and the waiting staff apologised for the delay but we didn't notice it! Three areas to eat - outside in the newly pedestrianised area, inside the main restaurant and if you can get it the rooftop terrace has great views of Arta

Excellent value for money. Charming hotel in the heart of Arta. Welcoming staff, great breakfast, classic local architecture and two dinner options to choose from, bistrot and restaurant. Will definitely be back.

I hated, hated, this place, I wish we’d never stayed there I’m sure that the actual hotel rather than the annex that we were in must be better, it has to be better. Ok some may say that the breakfast was adequate but obviously not me. Now that we’re talking about the breakfast, here are my observations Lots of people doing nothing whilst the guests wait, Ok if you’re giving the owner a T shirt you may get better service or if you need aid with planning a cycle ride then maybe he’ll drop everything to accommodate. What really got me was the time to get a coffee, the shot glass size glasses for juice and the leftover, dehydrating, disappointing cold meats and cheese offerings. Now we’ve covered the breakfast, let’s address the annex (not the hotel), our room seemed nice enough until you opened the window and smelt the drain by the pool (small plunge type thing (the pool not the drain)). But it was OK, the maintenance man was putting 99 % acid into said drain to fix the smell (99% acid that close to a pool, where people walk around in bare feet?!). Note before moving on, acid didn’t fix the problem, strange “bubbling” the next day. The room:- Problem with shower door Room could be cleaned up until 4 o’clock in the afternoon One window no curtains - you woke with the sun No phone in room, so when you had a problem you had to go to the hotel, note, most of the time no one on reception, so you then have to use your phone to phone their mobile. Oh the laundry room (I nearly forgot) directly under our room, you get to enjoy the sound of the tumble drier into the early morning. Now for the fridge incident. The fridge didn’t work in the room, I went to get ice from one of their restaurants, there then ensued a grand argument, where the waiter argued that you only needed 4 ice cubes to chill a warm bottle of wine. How petty, he got quite upset and demanded respect! Finally (I really could write forever), the roof top restaurant which was the primary reason for choosing the “hotel” was closed. This is not mentioned on their website at the time of our visit.

Tolles, individuell geführtes Hotel mit viel, viel Charme. Das Hotel befindet sich in 2 Dorfhäusern mitten in der verkehrsberuhigten Zone von Arta. Alle Zimmer sind sehr individuell an die Begebenheiten angepasst und alle unterschiedlich, aber schön eingerichtet. Sehr ruhiges Farbkonzept, überwiegend natürliche Materialien. Die Suite mit Whirlpool war ein Volltreffer, mit viel Licht und eigener Dachterrasse - leider unbeheiztem Whirlpool. Aber das war ok. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und vielfältig, wird ab 8:30 Uhr serviert. Toni ist ein toller Gastgeber und irgendwie fühlt es sich an wie Urlaub bei Freunden...

Ein individuelles Konzept! Familienoffenheit, Modernität und Tradition perfekt kombiniert! Unterschiedliche Zimmer für alle Wünsche! Der Ort wird immer toller! Tolles Frühstück. Cappuccino sehr gut, mild! Man fühlt sich sofort angekommen. Tipp: selbstgemachtes Granola fehlt zu diesem phantastischen Frühstück.
