CIRQA - 를레 & 샤토(Cirqa - Relais & Chateaux)

We had a brilliant experience at CIRQA and it is undeniably the best hotel we stayed in Peru. It is the perfect place to unwind, relax and pamper yourself (especially after a tour or trek!). The attention to detail, from the architecture to the luxury amenities have been well thought of and makes this a truly unique hotel stay. I was also so impressed with the service as the staff are extremely attentive and friendly and really makes you feel well-looked after. They also gave us some great recommendations on places to go in the area and on excursions. We will definitely be coming back to stay here one day and also can’t wait to try out its sister hotel in Lake Titikaka.

A very fortunate combination of modern, elegant and relaxed at same time. Every detail of this high end hotel is carefully picked from the aroma of the rooms to the material of the new architecture and design. The cocktails by the fire are not to be missed. A very special place not to be missed.

This hotel is stunningly beautiful with every detail designed to perfection, considered and tasteful. The staff were wonderful, helpful and attentive. The only downside was the food. We had to have dinner included in our booking and food was bland, and uninteresting. Think they really need to sort that as there are so many wonderful local restaurants and they didn't nearly compete for flavour. There is no buzz in restaurant as we were only dining guests so no atmosphere.

What a special place! Cirqa is gorgeous. The attention to detail in unmatched. The staff is great. The restaurant's dishes are delicious. The whole design is beautiful. We absolutely loved our stay and would love going back! The location is also very good. A very short walk to the main square and so many restaurants. Very safe.

Positives, excellent staff, lovely veranda, good location. Negatives, tiny room more like a cave than a room, hardly any light. The restaurant is so dark you need to use your mobile phone torch to read the menu, my prawn starters were burnt to a crisp and my beef main was tough. In the morning my husband ordered a bacon and onion omlette and got a plate of bacon and onions! Very weirdly the staff are all dressed as if the place is still a convent, with religious music piped out in the reception rooms, slightly spooky to be honest.

Best hotel in Arequipa. Small, beautiful, quaint, incredible rooms, excellent service and warm welcoming and friendly staff. Food was excellent although the hotel needs to incorporate more vegetarian options into their menu. The restaurant seating was not the most comfortable and needs to be adjusted so it less about the looks and more how guests cane eat comfortably. The massage was average and the wellness team need to consider how to make it more of a spa experience. The staff are just wonderful and are what makes this hotel special.

The hotel experience was one of the very best I’ve ever had. The service, decor, cleanliness, and expertise is 10/10. At every turn, they found a way to get us what we wanted and needed. We felt special, seen, and heard throughout our entire experience. If you want to do excursions, go through the hotel and pay the extra cost. That service was outstanding as well. My wife and I will be back and will recommend to every one we know.

Stayed here after a beautiful but tiring trek to Machu Picchu and wow, what a perfect place to unwind and relax. Quite possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Arequipa is a beautiful city and Cirqa was the perfect place to enjoy it from. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. Already missing sunsets from the rooftop bar!

It is a beautiful hotel, and the food is truly amazing. The surroundings are not that great. You are in the heart of downtown, the people look a bit sketchy. Best not to walk around at night time.
