르 포예르 호스텔 아레키파(Le Foyer Arequipa)

We had a nice stay at Le Foyer overall. The bed was comfortable, and there was hot water in the shower. As we traveled during the night from Huacachina to Arequipa, we arrived at the hotel at 5:45AM. The check in was only possible at 1:00pm, so we had to sleep in a small room upstairs, next to the rooftop terrace, but we were really cold…We had a nice balcony with our room, but that came with a lot of noise at night though… well located and next to different shops, parks, restaurants and Plaza de las Armas!

Say Yes to this enchanting place, why? The location is excellent, easy to find places to dine around, good atmosphere, delicious breakfast and comfy rooms. The hotel has quite few relaxing areas around and the view from the roof is incredible.

I did not like it at all. The room was very small, the bed and bathroom smaller. They serve the breakfest between 6:30 to 08:30... No reason why, since you dont have to be awake so early on Arequipa! Diferente from Cusco or Àugas Caliente for exemple. Its to noise at night. Really noise! And at the end, they told us that they would serve our final breakfest at 6:00. But didnt! No one to talk at the time! Just find some other hotel. My advice. We stayed 20 days travelling Peru. The whorst one: Le Foyer!

Small hotel room and very narrow alley to get to the property, the staff were very nice and helpful.

What a place! We arrived at 5 am from Ica, and after many hours on the bus, we thought we would have to wait for check-in until 1 pm. We went to the hostel to drop off our things, hoping we could stay around until some places in the city opened and store our luggage. Josuè, without us asking, told us that we could sleep upstairs in the closed area until we had our room and that we could use all the facilities! He even said it’s not a problem to have breakfast on that day, as we were leaving early the next day. He was super welcoming. He also informed us that we could get our room earlier, and we actually did, 5 hours before the advertised check-in time! The room was clean and pleasant, the breakfast was very nice, and the views from the rooftop were great. We even got a take away snack pack and water when leaving super early! Would definitely come back. A very nice hostel, and Josuè definitely went above and beyond. Can’t be more grateful. Thank you! Klaudia & Carl

Location great and ok room very basic but shower was strong and bed ok. The problem was the sound level at night between the Terrasse and the clubs around it is a very noisy place. Breakfast should include fruits it is peru!

Comfortable and safe stay in the heart of Arequipa. The rooftop cafe has a beautiful view of the mountain. The staff is very helpful. If you want to stay close to the key attractions of the city and still have some quiet time, this is the spot for you.

It doesn’t matter which room you have; the hotel is surrounded by bars, discotheques, and crazy traffic. •The breakfast is poor in general, and they don’t have vegan options, not even cereal. •The rooms are not very clean and there is even snot stuck to the walls and ceiling. •The towels are ripped and frayed •The shower curtain was disgusting - dirty, sticky, and full of mold •Furniture was extremely worn •There is no heating, and the rooms can get very cold

Great place in Cuzco for a relaxing stay. Hendry and his team of collaborators did a fantastic job hosting us. Pricing valuable, great food, ambiance and clean. I've read negative and unfair reviews of this place expecting a 5 * hotel for an unreal price showing their poor travel experience at the least .
