Hotel de los años 70 del siglo pasado, un viaje en el tiempo, al pasado, no wifi, no adaptado para minusválidos, las instalaciones desgastadas por el uso del tiempo no se han renovado, las habitaciones con la llaves antiguas de latón, el acceso por la puerta principal supone que se tengan que superar unos escalones imposibles para personas con movilidad reducida antes de poder acceder a un pre recibidor con un ascensor hasta la recepción. Las habitaciones con los muebles originales de mas de 50 años y la loseria del suelo desconchada por el tiempo, el baño, con grifos individuales para el agua caliente y fría, y para la manguera de la ducha y el grifo de la bañera, los sobretechos, repintados en blanco sobre placas de amianto, racholas de las pareces algunas de ellas rotas, En fin, un lugar para la nostalgia con la decadencia que el tiempo ha imprimido en sus instalaciones y en su ambiente. Lo único positivo, el acceso directo a la playa.

Our stay in this hotel was not bad at all however I expected more from 4 stars... Pros: - Very friendly and helpful staff! - Close to the beach - 2 Swimming pools - Bar with seats next to the beach - Train station only 10 mins away (1,5h away from Barcelona, trains are very frequent so no need to worry about catching the train on time!) - Buffet style meals Cons: - The rooms are dated and look like a motel (we paid extra for our room hoping it would be exceptional - it wasn't. The walls were cracked and the wallpaper was pilling off showing stains underneath. Dead bugs on the ceiling in the bathroom with bloody stains... - All inclusive doesn't mean all inclusive - you still have to pay for the food at the beach bar and for nice drinks (only very simple drinks were available in all inclusive but forget about Aperol Spritz or nice cocktails...) - Bathroom was clean enough however it looked dated and the toilet pipe was fixed with cement! There was water leaking underneath the toilet anyway... - Food was average - some meals were REALLY good and some were not, for example bacon had lots of bones pieces inside - Sunbeds were all broken - had to get up carefully to not get my skin caught between the plastic bits. Overall it was a pleasant stay however I expected more from 4 stars hotel... If you are looking for 4 star hotel with actual 4 stars then look somewhere else however if you are not fussy then this hotel ticks the boxes. Would suggest booking hotel stay with breakfast only and spend the rest of the day somewhere else.

We have been revisiting this hotel over the last 14 years. There is good reason for this, let me start by saying it is only a 3 star hotel & that is why you only pay a 3 star price for AI. However do not let that put you off. The food is exceptional and if you are a real foodie & are open to cusine from this Catalan region you will not be disappointed. Breakfast lunch and dinner is all served buffet style with so much choice at every meal everything from typical Paella to chorizo & Spanish black pudding to chicken in delicious sauces to freshly carved pork ribs. Fresh salad at every meal. Continental breakfast traditional fry up. There is of course chips and hotdogs of course if you really didn’t want to try any of the delicious offerings, but you would be mad not to give it a try! Locally produced plenty of vegetarian options you will not go hungry. Yes rooms are dated but very comfortable & clean. Location on the beach. Staff very welcoming from the start. Restaurant staff all work so hard and deserve a mention. We have eaten out on a few occasions but not found anything as nice as in the hotel. If you want a day at the shops I would recommend Caella lovely boutiques, restaurants & tapas bars. 2 stops on the train. The station is 10 min walk away & cost 5 euro return. I and I have to mention the little tourist train it was the first time we got on it this year, I won’t tell you where it goes but you won’t be disappointed so just go with it!! For 5 euros it’s 40 mins well spent. We got off it in the old square of Santa Susanna where you can find on various days a flea and antique market,

The staff on reception was horrible and rude when we arrived we had been travelling for 4 hours with children who all had enough and just wanted to relax the man on reception made booking in hard work foe us all once we found our rooms they was dated and had funny smell in them we was given a sea view witch was the only good thing about this stay entertainment was in Spanish we are English so made it very hard to understand anything no on really spoke any English so we was made to feel left out food didn't look the best and wasn't a lot for the children to eat so we didn't eat here all in all we wouldn't stay here again it is not a 4 star hotel

The worst so called 4 star I have ever seeing. You can't give more then 2 stars to this place. Very old and smelly rooms. Very rude barman at the bar . Staff are looking at you like if you owe them a fortune. Restaurant food ok and staff in the restaurant are friendly in all fearnes. Honestly don't be fooled it's not even close to 3 star . Night entertainment isn't great and it's only in Spanish so no point to be sitting there if you don't understand what it is about. Never again.

The worst hotel we’ve ever been, room full of ants , food all the time the same, pool was dirty, staff very rude and looking line they gave us for free when we paid fir the services, the bed uncomfortable and the balcony door didn’t work properly and yeah… very hot inside the air conditioning didn’t work at all…. The only nice part eas the ️ beach…and thats it…

Don’t just Don’t 🤢 this hotel is rated as 4 stars how and when i do not know, our room was a twin room that had been made into a family room so extra beds just squeezed in and one was broken, the wallpaper was falling off the walls there was also holes in it where it had been punched, the bathroom was growing and unhygienic, air con turned off between 00.00-08.00am it was 23 degrees was told it was due to the pandemic told to open my balcony door, tried this but couldn’t as was right next to the train line which ran all night. the pool was freezing and the edge was so sharp it cut all my children’s fingers, hands and feet. as for the restaurant don’t even go there it’s raw or cold so your told to use one of two microwaves they provide! snacks advertised are that mornings leftovers there was even a hot dog in a bun with a bite out of it, we used the decking area opposite all week to be then told we couldn’t sit there even though we were spending a minimum of €50 a night on food and drinks the the penultimate night we had the lights switched off on us at midnight and the manager come sit next to us with his arms folded and huffing we asked what the problem was we were told we close at 12 not 1 it’s was his error but we had to go even though we had just bought food and drinks, also one night the bar was closed as the power had gone down so we had to go into the town to eat and drink. the best thing about this place was the lovely waiter Pau he couldn’t do enough for us and was a lovely friendly guy, also Chris the fantastic bar man who looked after us all week

Nice hotel, perfect location, room was fine, could do with some English channels on tv to watch but that’s just a minor detail. No issues with our room, food was lovely, would just recommend some air con in the restaurant as we went in September and still very hot, air con needed during meal times. We would return, I don’t care about old decor I must be used to these kind of hotels they are perfectly fine!- the hotel was clean, good view from balcony and so close to the beach, couldn’t fault it. Will return this year hopefully.
