Pros: - great location - nice view over the Dead sea, particularly nice at the sunset - comfortable beds (we slept well) - fully-stocked bathroom (shower gels, shampoos, soap etc.) - there was a mini-fridge in the room, welcome bottle of water and complementary tea/coffee - strong A/C in the room (helps a ton given the temperatures) - breakfast included and was ok compared to some other hotels in Jordan (i.e., it was a bit worse than you'd expect from an ibis budget in Poland) - close to Wadi Mujib national park Cons: - attitude was cold at best (i.e., it was neither traditional Jordanian hospitality, nor professional European service - somehow it was the worst our of the two worlds) - the infrastructure was generally in decay (beach infra visibly not maintained, old chairs on the terrace close to falling apart) - dinner wasn't bad, but for the price I would've expected either local cuisine or European cuisine (again, it was neither of the two, with some 'weaker' elements from each of the cuisines on display. Not sure if that's consequence of poor planning or COVID-related tourism reduction, or both)
