Pleasant and helpful staff although wanting to check in to this COMPLETELY EMPTY accommodation before check in time proved completely ‘impossible’. The food and service was good and the main challenged was getting into the sea barefoot because the salt crystals are so sharp. Jellies are recommended. During our stay there were a lot of biting stable flies and surprising in the desert mosquitoes too. Unwisely we tried to sleep with the door open

This was a beautiful setting with great service. From the moment we arrived until we left it was peaceful, calming and relaxing. The chalets need an upgrade, but the surroundings and service make up for this. There’s a short walk down to the Dead Sea, which is a bit tricky but worth it. No beach but not needed with the sea. Food was great and traditional, well presented and again attentive service.

I only left Mujib Chalets this morning and am already writing a review as I don’t want others to miss out on this gem! These chalets are a fantastic option for those wanting to experience the peace and beauty of time at the Dead Sea while avoiding the resort setting and supporting the work of the RSCN. The setting is even more stunning than it looks in pictures, with the chalets hanging on cliffs right above the Dead Sea, affording uninterrupted views of the water. The chalets are designed in a way that allows for total privacy despite there being a cluster of them quite close together. The rooms are relatively basic but modern, well maintained and very clean with everything you could need (no TV necessary but there was a fridge, shelves, good lighting options and a comfy bed). My shower was a bit cold, but this was refreshing after a day of floating in the balmy sea. The complex was very quiet at night, creating the ultimate relaxing atmosphere for deep rest. The landscaping and design was all quite fresh. The food was okay, but maybe not what you would look for if you wanted food to be at the centre of your Dead Sea experience. I stayed right before the Siq trail opens for the season so unfortunately didn’t get to experience the hiking (which looked incredible) but had the most relaxing day lounging in the sun, floating in the sea and admiring the breathtaking scenery. I felt warmly welcomed from arrival and truly looked after all the way through my final hours at the chalets, when staff showed me how to apply the Dead Sea mud for maximum effect. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and looked after here. I hope to see more people choose to stay at Mujib Chalets and to have more opportunities to travel like this myself ! The Mujib Chalets have a spectacular location above and overlooking the Dead Sea. When we visited, the views across the water were stunning. The chalets themselves are well done – nice design, comfortable, good amenities, good views. From the chalets, there is a trail and a long set of stairs down to the water. You can wade in (water shoes recommended) and spend some quality time floating in the Dead Sea. The setting is beautiful and there are no crowds -- just a few other guests. It’s hard to imagine a nicer way to experience the Dead Sea. We didn’t hike the nearby Mujib Biosphere Reserve, which was closed during our visit due to rains. But at other times this would be one more reason to stay at Mujib Chalets. On the other hand, the dinner and breakfast buffets were just average, as was the front desk service. This makes it hard to give an “excellent” overall rating, but the Mujib Chalets are still a very good place to stay.

If you want to get away from it all and experience the Dead Sea in a relaxing setting, this is a fabulous place to stay. The Chalets look out over the Sea and there is a path that leads you down to the beach. The rooms themselves are quite basic but the location and views feel very luxurious. We had breakfast and dinner included which was quite nice. We only stayed for the night which we were pleased about as the hikes in to Wadi Mujib were closed while we were there (not sure if this was for safety reasons due to risk of flash flooding or Ramadan) so there wasn’t much to do except relax.

Personel is very friendly and the view is amazing. The room itself is clean and pretty, but the bathroom is dirty and smells very bad. Dinner was not great, not a lot of choice and not very good. Breakfast was also not amazing, very little choice, leftovers from dinner and some sweet stuff. Also only wifi in the dining area, which was good for a relaxing stay.
