Very good location, with the beach almost at your doorstep! Great room with a balcony. An easy 10 min walk to the pier where the ferries depart for Cap Ferret. Restaurants all around. About 10mins walk from the SNCF train station. Manageable for those rolling luggage as the pavement along the way is mostly paved and flat.

Bom hotel de praia.

We enjoyed our stay here and the staff was friendly and pleasant. The hotel is in a great location next to the top end of the beach and close to the pier where the boats leave on various trips, including the lovely Cap Ferret. We stayed in a family room which was a decent size. No balcony with this room. The single bed for our son was a sofa bed - it was very narrow and extremely uncomfortable. The king sized bed was comfortable. There is parking on site at a fee of 17 euro a night. There was mould on the shower heads and there was mould around the air-conditioning unit. We only received two sets of towels even though there were 3 of us. We also only received 2 glasses. On our second day we received new glasses but they were extremely dirty with grease and lip stains. I went to reception to get new ones and was advised that the glasses were dirty because of water marks from the dishwasher. If that's how clean your glasses come out of the dishwasher then time to buy a new machine. It was clear we were given dirty glasses by mistake. The air-conditioning unit was useless - I would definitely not recommend staying here in summer. The room was too warm in April - it would be like a greenhouse in summer. Breakfast was nice with plenty of variety and of good quality. When food ran out it was quickly replaced. A warm option for vegetarians would have been appreciated but the fruit was fresh and delicious. Although we enjoyed our stay we wouldn't stay here again. We fet it was overpriced for what was on offer in comparison to other 4 star hotels that we have stayed at recently. I'm not sure why it has 4 stars - maybe the location?

Great hotel , excellent location next to the beach. Rooms lovely ours had a closed balcony. Modern decor. Good coffee machine, which is rare in hotels in France. There is an underground carpark. Restaurant looked nice but we didn’t try it. Friendly helpful staff. Would stay again.

I stayed in the hotel with my daughter . It is around 30 minutes by transfer bus from Merignac airport in Bordeaux then a train approx 50 mins from St Jean train station in Bordeaux to Archachon . It’s an easy ten minute stroll to the hotel . It’s in a lovely location on the beach next to lovely seafood restaurants and near shops . You’ll find great high quality shopping here and it always feels safe , clean and quiet ( at this time of year ) . We had a classic room and it’s quiet , rooms are comfortable with great comfy beds . Toiletries in the bathroom are very good quality organic ones . There is a fridge in the room with a safe too . Our room had a balcony with table and chairs . You could eat your breakfast there . I have to say the breakfast was great , some fried breakfast but mainly continental - croissants , cheese , ham , yogurts , breads , coffee , fresh juice and tea . The staff are very helpful and pleasant . I’m glad I chose this hotel .

The staff at front desk very accommodating, Bruno especially. Recommend great food, unbelievable sights & must see experiences like climbing the dunes . The food at breakfast outstanding & rooms were lovely. Wish we had stayed longer!! Next time!!

Greatly located right on the beach. Umbrellas, sun chairs and towels provided. Room large and clean, beds comfortable, we had a balcony too with 2 chairs and a small table but we were always outside! We stayed for four nights as we used it as a base for visiting Bordeaux and Sauternes. In retrospect we wished we’d stayed longer. We highly recommend! The beach is tame here and the sand super nice (no pebbles or rocks)
