더 소울 앤트워프(The Soul Antwerp)

Las instalaciones son algo incómodas. No hay ascensor, y la escalera de subida es súper estrecha y con mucha pendiente, cosa que al subir las maletas es horrible. Y en el baño, el bote de gel estaba vacío y algunas de las toallas tenían algún que otro lamparón desconocido. Por lo demás, la ubicación es perfecta, hay mucha vida, y la plaza donde se localiza está llena de restaurantes y bares. Creo que para una estancia de corta duración de una par de días está correcto.

Most importantly- the location is great, the bed very comfortable and the whole place was very clean and nicely decorated. One should be aware, though, that all rooms can only be reached via rather steep and narrow stairs, we were staying on the fourth floor with an incredible view of the place and the surrounding restaurants and bars. Given the height of the floors, I was very happy I only had a small bag of luggage. Our room had a fridge and a small coffee machine, no kitchenette. We also had no heating in the bathroom, as the small heater there did not work, and only a small air heating unit in the room, which could not at all keep up with the frigid February temperatures. I would have also appreciated a bath rug. The price is acceptable for the location, though, and, again, it’s very clean and the staff in the adjoining café are very accommodating and friendly.

Really friendly check-in (I was hours' early, off a transatlantic flight, and- understanding that I was so jetlagged- they enabled me to access the room well in advance of conventional check-in hours). Stylish and well-equipped studio apar**ent; comfortable bed; beautiful bathroom and shower space (complete with "Rituals" toiletries); nice kitchenette, with Nespresso machine, hob, and microwave; bright and airy, with view over gezellig Marnixplein- which was, admittedly, as to be expected, a little noisy late into the evening (not enough to disturb me, though). I enjoyed the independence of the space (street and room key, free to come and go as pleased without having to interact with any desk staff). Excellently situated near the KMSKA (3-mins. walk), and only 15 minute walk to cathedral/town hall/ historic centre; 20 minute walk to Centraal Station. Cafe downstairs served lovely pastries and coffee, with a much longer breakfast menu if desired. Absolutely no complaints; I highly recommend "The Soul" and shall definitely stay here again next time I'm in Antwerp.

The owners were kind and the property was quite a bargain for a place where you get your own small kitchen. The location was excellent. I must admit, however, that the black walls and black ceiling made it feel a bit claustrophobic. The biggest problem for me was the bathroom: the holder for the shower head was broken, as was the bathroom bin, and the shower door did not seal right, allowing the water to spill over quite a bit. I never quite understood how to raise the heat in the room, and a couple of nights it was pretty chilly. Overall, really not a fancy place, but my stay was still pleasant enough, as I didn't spend much time at all in the room. *Keep in mind the building does not have elevators*.

Great location, lovely studio. One thing to know is that it is very noisy, both from the terraces outside and the acoustics in the building.

Het is simpel om als een citroen op te sommen wat je kan vinden wat mis is. Beoordeel eerst je eigen huis en vertel de zaken waar andere echt iets aan hebben! Wij hebben drie nachten (ma/do) op de derde verdieping overnacht. Flinke klim, want er is geen lift. De kamer is ruim en het uitzicht heerlijk. Je krijgt een groot bed. (fijn als je 1.90 bent) We hadden geen TV maar hebben we niet gemist. We hadden een laptop en netflix. Je krijgt een groot ontbijt met veel fruit en fruitsap. De uitbater en zijn ploeg zijn vriendelijk, behulpzaam en zorgzaam. We hebben genoten! Thx! De SOUL ligt aan de marnixplaats en daar zijn meerdere terrassen en restaurants, iets verder aan de volkstraat nog veel meer. We hebben veel lopend gedaan tot aan het eilandje wat goed te doen is. We hadden een 72 uur kaart en de app van "de lijn" en dat werkt perfect. Opzoeken, inchecken en reizen. De app werkt via bluetooth samen met de trams en bussen, dus realtime info. Alle musea zijn dichtbij en om te shoppen hoef je ook niet ver. Als je er van houd of een abo van Blijdorp hebt kan je naar de Zoo. Niet groot maar zeker leuk om te doen.

Top plek in leuke omgeving met restaurants en cafeetjes . Aardige mensen en goeie sfeer

Situado no zuid, melhor região da cidade! Os quartos são grandes, decorados com charme e descontração. A experiência no geral foi muito boa ! Um pouco caro Enfrentamos dias de terrível calor e o ar condicionado funcionou muito mal, sugiro uma revisão e as toalhas eram pequenas e ásperas Detalhes que podem ser corrigidos com facilidade.

Lage Top, Personal Top, Betten Top,Dusche Top. Nachttischlampe hatte keine Steckdose, Stehlampe konnte nicht angeschaltet werden, Tür zum Bad knarrt und knirscht. Sehr laut Nachts wegen der umliegenden Restaurants. Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen
