I stayed at the Guesthouse for 3 months. Enjoyed the location with an easy walk to a good Thai restaurant, a German diner/a Vietnamese resto, a good produce stand. The shared kitchen made breakfast easy. I had a private bath and cooking appliances in my room. Purified water was abundant. Best of all were the kind and sweet owners and staff, most helpful. Twice I needed medical attention, and the owner Preston, an Aussie bloke, chauffered me to the university hospital. He also chauffered me to the bank twice. Co-owner Giselle had her sister, son, and his family working there doing cleaning and laundry service too at a good price. Also, Preston, his buddies, and renters always took time to chat and offer helpful information and advice about managing the country and visa concerns. It was a happy friendly place. I hated to leave, but I had family to see in the states. I'll be back.
