호텔 퍼스(Hotel Purs)

We had a six course dinner with wine pairing. They rushed the courses. Filled the glasses for the next course before we finished our glasses. Some courses way too salty. Some fish too raw. Red wine for main course too warm and with a hint of oxydation. One of the sommeliers was plainy rude.

My family stayed here as a stop on our road trip. We had a little confusion on how to get to the hotel due to multiple road closures, even though the hotel sent us a map on the route. When we arrived we were met with a friendly receptionist who showed us around, unfortunately the hotel had suffered some water damage, so the restaurant on site was closed. We had no advance notice of this, but the bar was still open. That night we had dinner at the hotels sister restaurant, Trattoria Ai Perro, which the hotel helped us book and was delicious. The communal spaces were beautifully decorated with lots of modern art through out. The rooms were very nice and spacious, but when we went to bed we shortly found out that the air conditioning seemed to not be working, and the room was very hot making it hard to get to sleep and stay asleep; we also noticed some odd small bugs, that seemed like tics, but we later found out that it was a hump beetle so it was harmless but gave us a fright. The next morning, we had breakfast in the bar, which was absolutely spectacular. It was a traditional German breakfast, presented beautifully, and delicious, but there was a rather odd atmosphere throughout our stay, with the only guests other than us being two couples, whom we rarely saw. Upon departure the hotel supplied water and bread for the car journey which was a nice touch. Overall, my stay in Andernach was very good, with the only negatives being the water damage and the air conditioning, but I’m certain that these problems will be fixed.

We had an unexpectedly wonderful hotel and dining experience at Purs.The hotel is a contemporary design fitted into an ancient structure- and it is done withn such care and attention to detail. Every guest's needs are anticipated. And the hotel's restaurant is excellent and inventive. All of this does comes with a price but the overall expereince was memorable and worth it. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

Das Haus zeichnet sich durch Harmonie der Formen und Farben sowie durch sein edles, aber keineswegs steriles Ambiente aus. Ein besonderes Highlight sind die perfekt auf jeden Raum bzw. jede Ecke abgestimmten Kunstwerke.

Architektonisch ein Juwel, die Zimmer mit einer wunderschönen Mischung aus alt und modern, sehr gute Betten, tolles Bad (leider fehlte bis auf Handtücher fast alles an Dusch- und Kosmetik), viel Raum für Garderobe und Ablage, keine Minibar. Die Sitzgelegenheiten in der Lounge und in der Bar sind ungemütlich und das gepriesene Frühstück nur was für Nichtvegatarier.

Das Hotel PURS ist bis ins Detail eine architektonische Augenweide, bei einigen Sitzgelegenheiten zulasten der Bequemlichkeit. Die ruhige Lage und die ideal gepolsterten und bezogenen Betten sorgen für Schlaf vom Feinsten. Und auch die Tatsache, dass das Frühstück serviert wird, ist zunächst ein weiterer Wohlfühl-Faktor. Die Enttäuschung beginnt, wenn sich auf dem opulenten Tablett neben Fisch, Wurst und Käse weder Säfte noch Honig befinden und die Butter sowie die zwei Marmeladen in Fingerhut großem Puppengeschirr daherkommen und nur zögerlich nachgereicht werden. So zuvorkommend und kommunikativ das Team in jeglicher Hinsicht ist, hier würde eine kleine Frage genügen: Was frühstücken Sie am liebsten? Das erspart dem Gastgeber Reste und macht den süßen Frühstücksgast glücklich.

Schoon, zeer smaakvol ingericht, ruime suites, rustig gelegen en discreet. Kortom: top hotel. Maar 11 kamers dus kleinschalig met persoonlijke aandacht. Een van de betere hotels waar we hebben verbleven. Geniet van een diner in het restaurant dat terecht bekroond is met 2 Michelin sterren

Très déçus par l'accueil et la chambre. Nous avions réservé une Premier-Suiten Neue Kanzlei . La climatisation ne marchait pas ou très mal. Le seul point vraiment positif était le diner le soir de notre arrivée. Le jeune chef est vraiment exceptionnel. On se demande d'ailleurs ce qu'il fait dans cet hôtel, il mérite beaucoup mieux que ça. Nous avons pris l'apéritif avant le diner, la jeune fille ne nous a proposé que du champagne Ruinart que nous avons bu pensant que c'était le verre de bienvenue. Au moment de l'addition ces verres étaient facturés 56€. Nous avons été obligés de nous battre un peu pour faire annuler ce poste de la note. En définitif cet hôtel veut se donner des grands airs mais ils ont un comportement d'un établissement non classé et encore... Nous n'y retournerons plus.

Das Hotel ist seiner Geschichte bewusst sehr stimmig mit harmonischen Farben und entsprechendem Mobiliar ausgestattet. Das Zimmer, das wir bewohnten, war sehr grosszügig, das Bad modern und gross. Service war ausgezeichnet. Das Essen im Fine-Dining-Restaurant PURS war ein Erlebnis. Sehr innovativ und geschmacklich ausgezeichnet.
