샤또 레스칼(Château l'Escale)

This Chateau will surprise anyone who decides to come. Unique decoration in each room, Excellent service from Vincent, great breakfast. Walking the gardens and facilities is an adventure and very pleasing. We should have spent more time inhouse.

Nice peaple. Help us with reservation fo dinner. But Breakfast was poor and needs some maitanance for the house.

A recently and sensitively restored Chateau for which the owners deserve the reward of a successful business. Highly recommend both the facilities and the staff. We would certainly stay again if on our route next time.

If you have watched any of the tv programmes about couples buying an old Chateau, renovating it and opening as an hotel and wedding venue, this is a real live example! Vincent and Celine have only been here for 2 years but they have already worked wonders and the place is charming. There is still a mountain of tasks to tackle, as will always be the case with a property like this, but it is worth staying now before the prices go up. They have already been filmed for the French version of 'Chateau DIY' or similar, so Chateau l'Escale is on the map. The outdoor, covered pool is lovely, with a grape vine covering the relaxation area and Vincent runs an old Citroen 'Traction Avant' for wedding couples. Our room was beautiful but the wifi is not strong. They don't have a restaurant kitchen yet so dinner is 'pre prepared' meals from a food supplier; breakfast was fine. We really enjoyed our stay at this charming Chateau and with this delightful couple and we wish them every success.

A last minute booking on the way back from the south of France. What a wonderful place! We received a lovely warm welcome from Vince and a tour of the Chateau. It’s full of charm and history. Our family room was perfect, so spacious, clean and full of character. Cannot wait to go back! Only bits to mention- hand rail on the staircase is a little wobbly so be careful with little ones and the pool was colder than expected (too cold for me). Grounds were beautiful and breakfast was basic but nicely done. Maybe a little background music in the petit salon would add some extra charm. All staff were wonderful and we can’t wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful overnight stop :-)

Un petit déjeuner comme je les aime avec de vrais viennoiseries. Et c’est sans parler de la petite chapelle, un moment de recueillement très appréciable également. Merci aussi pour la décoration, c’est juste parfait
