Amazing hostel. Very kind people, that do their best to leave all friends together and for us to have a good time. Loved the environment. Always available to answer any questions or give any suggestions about the city or specifics places. We surely recommend!

Hostel was ok. Good location. Why I’m giving them 1 star is because they scammed me and charged me for two reservations. They also did this to a friend of mine who was staying there a separate time. BEWARE!!! I spoke to one of the front desk staff Eanna and she was of no assistance and kept blaming me This is FRAUD ! I will be taking legal action for their negligence to acknowledge their scam.

I booked a 2 night stay in a dorm however on arrival I was informed that the hostel operates an age restriction and I was too old. The receptionist admitted that this happens all the time but was adamant I couldn't stay so I was left traipsing the streets in the rain looking for alternative accommodation. If the Hans Brinkler wants to operate this policy then fine, it's their business but it needs to be clear and currently it isn't, it's hidden away at the end of the t&c's. When I asked how I get my deposit back I was told to contact their booking partner (Hostelworld). I have spent the last 2 months trying to get Hostelworld to acknowledge my complaint and deal with it, so far all I have received is automated replies which are of no help whatsoever. Hostelworld and the Hans Brinkler are happy to take deposits from customers who they know are unable to stay at the hostel, they are then happy to leave those customers on the street. Hostelworld's customer service is non existent, they do not care about anything other than profit.

The room was too small for 8 people. There were drawers under beds. I prefer cupboard with locks. There were no curtains on the beds. Hostel staff was friendly. Location is quite good. You can reach many places easily. If you prefer to walk around the city, this hostel has a perfect location 👍

Excellent localization, very near to Museumplein with a tram station very close. There is also a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and McDonald's less than 3 minutes walking. The rooms and bathroom are very clean, I had no problems with the people I stayed with in room. Every bed in the room has a socket and a light. There is also an ATM inside of the hostel and a great dinning area with a bar.

I just left the hostel today and I realized in the airport that I forgot my coat in the room 305, I called to the hostal but the girl in reception today, 22 October, was extremely rude on the phone and did nothing to support me to get my coat back. My friends are still in the city and I told them to go the hostel to collect the black coat (North face) and I called to the hostel too, to say that my friends were coming, but once they get to the hostel, she didn’t help us, even knowing that we are leaving the country today, I consider this is very bad treatment to guests. Could you please help me with this to figure out how can I collect it?

Terrible stay. Very expensive, no garden as said in the description, people from the reception were useless and trying to do as less as possible. We had the "H" of hotel in our face in the room and the curtain couldn't hide it completely, and cleaners slap the door at 8 A.M with vacuum cleaner and entered 2 times the rooms at 9 eventhough we said multiple times "no enter", and they woke us every morning because speaking loud. Beds are so small and short I couldn't even sit properly on the bed (I'm 173 cm...), we had the feeling we were in a prison. But definitely not the same price....One of the worst hotel I did for this amount of money ! The bar has nothing to do with the pictures on the site. It's dark and empty, so no one speaks with each other. No space to smoke a cigaret when it rains. And the shower urgently needed a descale ! The only good was the property of the room. I don't recomand it.
