staff helpful and breakfast was amazing. only disappointment was check in, no welcome drink or garland, understand we checked in late evening but still for a 5 star hotel every guest should be made to feel welcome especially as it was our first time in Amritsar. secondly the traditional music player in the lobby was missing so each morning felt dry and quiet in the lobby. everything else was good and leaving gift (fridge magnet) by Taj made up somewhat to the disappointments of the above .

Our stay at Taj Swarna Amritsar was exceptional from start to finish. The service was simply outstanding, easily the best I have experienced in any hospitality chain anywhere in the world. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. The breakfast was another highlight, with a delicious and extensive selection that catered to a variety of tastes. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and of excellent quality. The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, providing plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring Amritsar.

It was an amazing stay; breakfast was very good, and the staff were very nice and helpful.

It was a beautiful experience at the Taj Swarna, Staff were pleasant upon arrival - quickly checked in and directed to the lift. Staff were presentable and approachable. Taj Swarna has all the required amenities for a nice stay, it is only outdated with furnishing. Location is very close to a mall within 3 mins of walking. Room service was good - a little bit on the expensive side. Breakfast was good. Overall stay was good.

Service and food was excellent. The only negative can think of is that the hotel itself could do with a bit of an update and the fact the power went out just as I was getting into the life to go downstairs.

Excellent 5 star property. A little far from city centre and lacks good views from the room. However, the amenities, service and the experience of the property are totally worth it.

Avoidable at all cost. I would do all the praise if I can find any but unfortunately nothing comes in mind.

I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Sandeep for his excellent assistance in arranging our travel, and a special appreciation to Mr. Harman, our limo driver, who took great care of us throughout the three days. His dedication, hospitality, and passion for his work were truly commendable. However, there are a few points I would like to highlight for improvement. During check-in, which was quite late at around 11 p.m., we did not receive the usual Taj hospitality gestures such as a cold towel, welcome drink, or a warm welcoming approach. This may have been an oversight, but I hope the team can ensure such details are well taken care of for future guests, regardless of the check-in time. The breakfast experience was overall good, with attentive service. That said, the variety and taste of the food could be further enhanced. Similarly, at the Chinese restaurant, while the food was satisfactory, both the flavor and the portion size left room for improvement. On the positive side, the room was comfortable and well-maintained, meeting our expectations. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and with a few refinements, the experience could be even more exceptional in true Taj style.
