Whisky Point Resort

I have traveled to Sri Lanka twice and this is the best resort I have been to. The quality of the food and fruit is 10/10. Very clean, amazing employees and the ocean views are fantastic. I was there for one day but it is a place I could stay at for a week. Would come again!

Cozy place to stay by the beach. Good food in the restaurant. Friendly staff that helped us to book a taxi from Colombo Airport to the hotel, an amazing safari to Kumana park and our way out to Badulla, where we took a train to Kandy. In general, everyone in the staff was very friendly and helpful. On the bad side, no hot water (they said they intend to install in the near future) and the manager told us one thing about the breakfast and later, another thing. I paid, no problem, as overall, they were generous to us, but when you say something to a costumer, you should stick to it. If you cannot offer something, better be honest about it from the beginning.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Whisky Point Resort, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!! A special shoutout to Mufaris and Murthala for their outstanding and precise service—they went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The highlight of our stay was the incredible food and drinks. The iced tea was the best we’ve ever tasted, and the pizza was absolutely divine! Every bite and sip transported us to a place of pure bliss. Whisky Point Resort truly feels like a little paradise nestled within an already paradise-like island. The serene ambiance, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the staff, makes this a must-visit destination. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience. We’ll be back for sure!

Serene beachfront getaway perfect for surfers and travelers seeking relaxation. The resort offers eco-friendly accommodations like cabanas and pagodas, blending comfort with nature. We appreciated the exceptional service, vibrant yet tranquil atmosphere, and proximity to surf spots. On-site activities include yoga, Thai massages, and surf lessons. From the minute you check-in, you know you have arrived at a very special place. If you are looking for the hustle & bustle of Arugam or similar, this is unfortunately not for you. However, if you are looking for a wonderful escape with beautiful scenery & tranquillity, you are in luck. The rooms are exceptionally clean & beautifully but simply decorated with everything you need. Service is always prompt & delivered with a smile. Food is incredible. Anna is a fantastic yoga teacher and the skills she has taught me, I'll cherish for years to come. Every team member is a wonderful addition to the family and makes it totally unforgettable! Thanks for an amazing 2 week stay in your little paradise.

The resort is great , Anna and Nicola super hosts that were attentive and caring, assisting me when I felt ill one day with all great medical attention. The kids loved everything, food was so good and could just walk to the beach for surfing. Also took a ioga session with Anna that was great. Highly recommend 🩵
