I stayed at MPT Holiday Homes, Amarkantak with my four other family members including my parents and child from 21.12.2022 to 23.12.2022. The property is maintained by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department and it is undoubtedly one of the best places to stay at Amarkantak. The property is spread across a lush green campus which is very well maintained. They offer AC Room, AC Deluxe Room and AC Cottage (Tent). AC Rooms and AC Deluxe Rooms are located at the main building and AC Cottages are Waterproof tents on one side of the campus surrounded by gardens. We booked two AC Deluxe rooms and stayed at room number 108 and 109 which are on the ground floor. At first what attracts me as a tourist is their beautiful campus, very well maintained and full of greenery. The room size is average with an adjacent balcony and attached bathroom. From the balcony, the Savitri Sarovar is visible clearly. Rooms are neat and clean and are cleaned regularly. The bathroom is fitted with all modern amenities with a geyser also for hot water. There is a garden in this hotel which is well equipped for fun activities and swings, for kids as well as adults. There is an in-house restaurant where only vegetable dishes are available. In my opinion food taste is average though it depends on the individual taste buds. They also have a small library near the dining area full of books about various destinations in MP. There is ample space for parking also inside the campus. All the staffs are very kind and helpful. Since Amarkantak is a very small town, the whole city is easily approachable from the Hotel. Amarkantak is a sacred and serene place. Famous Narmada Temple is within 7-8 mins walking distance from the hotel and the Jain temple is clearly visible from the property. The car for the day tour is available on request at the reception. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very satisfied with the hotel and would love to return.
