Tenuta la Picola

We stayed here for four nights with two kids aged 6 and 8. We had a hire car and used it as a base for towns on the Amalfi coast. It's very convenient for taking the bus up to the start of the path of the gods, which was a walk in the hills with amazing sea views. It's situated on a rocky outcrop high above Praiano, with amazing views, and feels like a tranquil retreat from the busier Amalfi coastline. It's certainly worth the drive up the hill from the coast road. It is technically possible to walk to the beaches but the route is hard to find and there are hundreds of steps, so with young children, it would be better to get the bus or drive down. Breakfast was great, and Guido, the host, offers a simple but very delicious dinner. We enjoyed it so much, we had it twice, along with some of their red wine, which was very good. We stayed in one of the apartment-style rooms, with a kitchenette. It was spacious and had it's own balcony with the same amazing view as the dining terrace. Guido was really helpful, giving advice on how best to get around and even offered us a lift to the local town on one occasion. Overall we had a great time here - our kids didn't want to leave!

We really enjoyed our stay. Amazing view and good location to do daytours from. Staff was very friendly, our youngest has celiaki and they were so nice in offering her a special plate in the morning. Highly appreciated from both daughter and parents.

We had originally booked a hotel in Amalfi for our stay, however wanted to keep cost down and this lovely b&b was perfect. A great price and clean, comfortable and very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were a great size, cool, clean and comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. View was beautiful and tucked away in the mountains made it very quiet and peaceful. We rented a car and was so glad we did. There was parking available and apart from one wonderful restaurant (Melchio) there wasn’t much else to see/do close by but in the car there are so many lovely places you can visit.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in questa struttura molto bella, immersa nel verde con una terrazza con vista mozzafiato sulla costiera amalfitana. Personale molto cortese. Camera ampia , nuova e pulitissima con vista incredibile sul mare. Colazione ottima sul terrazzo che sembra sospeso tra cielo e mare. Un posto splendido . Consigliatissimo.

Abbiamo soggiornato 6 notti presso questa struttura nell’appartamento Sufinella. Appartamento molto pulito e confortevole. La posizione della struttura e’ bellissima con vista mozzafiato sulla costa. L’appartamento prevedeva anche la colazione : buonissima…torte e biscotti fatte in casa, frutta, brioche… Gestori della struttura gentilissimi e disponibilissimi … Consiglio vivamente questa struttura!

Che dire... Panorama superlativo mozzafiato... Dalla finestra della nostra stanza ! Per non parlare della colazione servita in una grande veranda nel punto più alto della struttura . Personale cordiale e disponibile. Super pulizia delle stanze che sono moderne e trasmettono un senso di pace e serenità.
