컴포트 인 코보르(Comfort Inn Cobourg)

Great location just off the highway! Very comfortable, soft beds, and comes with a microwave, and mini fridge in the room. It's a little far from downtown but I guess that's the trade off when you can access the 401 immediately as you head out!

Comfortable enough but noisy through night as if doors were opening and closing consistently down the hall from maintenance or housekeeping. Very odd. Decent spread for breakfast

I entered a "sauna" my first day because the heat was set on high and left on for who knows how long. The archaic heating system is uncomfortable. I put it on low, then the room was too hot. I turned off the heat, then the room was too cold. The windows don't open. There was no way to control it for comfort. No shampoo conditioner was in the shower...I had to ask Front Desk to help. Housekeeping replaced towels after 3 days, but didn't replace bath mat nor leave me extra toilet paper. Again, I had to get Front Desk to help.

Nice and quiet don’t hear the doors slamming as people are opening them in the hallway. Because it’s off the main drag, it is very quiet.

A $250 hold for a week, for a crappy, dirty, outdated hotel that really should be called a motel. 10/10 will not come back.

Friendly person when checking in very late. Very nice woman in the breakfast room.

First they tried to charge me extra for the main floor reservation. No. Then the first room hadn’t been vacuumed , dirty floor, smelled of smoke. Next room okay until I looked. Filthy Kleenex holder. Lamp dusty. Room dirty. Ants infestation in bathroom. No cleaning service on weekends? Go elsewhere. Filthy Towers.

The front desk staff were very friendly, once we discovered where to go in. The canopy indicating the office had been hit by a truck and removed so without a sign saying OFFICE HERE, it was hard to find. Our room had parking right outside the door which was great for taking our cat in her carrier into the suite. The bathroom was clean ( I always wipe down the floor when we travel with our cat and the floor here was clean!) When they renovate the hotel it would be great to have a larger bathroom even if it meant a smaller bedroom. There was not enough room to put all our toiletries and the cat's stuff. Also I don't let her out of her carrier in the main room as she might hide under the bed so having a bigger bathroom would let her stretch her legs a bit more The bed was comfortable and the overnight was quiet. I thought both the room rate and the rate for Trixie ($30, compared to $10 in NB and $20 in Quebec) were rather high given the somewhat tired state of the building A nice walk before supper in a lovely subdivision is a plus, and later, we went to the tuck shop and bought some ice cream- very pleasant clerk. The next morning it took only a few minutes to get to the 418 en route to the 407, so that was very handy. Looking forward to staying again esp after the renovations.
