보니 캐슬 리조트 & 마리나(Bonnie Castle Resort & Marina)

It was a convenient place to stay. You where in the center of everything and could see the Bonnie Castle. The cleanliness of the rooms were terrible. We waljed in and there was a pretzel on the floor and none of the floors in the two rooms that we booked had been swept. The staff was nice.

This place is a bait and switch. Looks cool and historic because of the facade pictures they post, but it is really a below average motorcourt hotel. It is in desperate need of an upgrade. Not what we were expecting from the photos at all. It is right on the river and if you need a marina they seem well equipped. Service was fine.

Standard room was in motel-like annex building which not described or photos on website. Original room smelled horribly of mold/mildew. Mold on lamp shades, and lamps were rusty. VERY rundown place in need of upgrades. Lots of broken and damaged items, and deferred/poor maintenance. Beds comfortable though, except pillows flat as pancakes. Could not stand the room smell. Service desk allowed me to check out an “upgraded” room in main hotel building, which was better for our second night. Had to pay additional $ for it. As it had a jacuzzi tub - cool, but stained tub bottom - would not use it. Main building common stairways/halls, outside porch very run down, bleached wood, mold and rot. View was awesome though, from porch. ****s growing where a nice lawn would’ve been nice, between main building and water. Low cost maintenance items, e.g. paint/stain porch with decent chairs, grass instead of ****s, fluffy pillows, replace lamp/shades, dehumidifier, better maintenance/repairs, etc. would make difference. Thankful we were only there to sleep at night. Will not go back or refer. Recommend they sell the horrible annex building and put $$ into upgrading/maintaining the main hotel, as it’s a beautiful view and old main hotel building prob has lots of great history.

Room was nice but hotel was a bit outdated. We stayed 2 days and they did not clean room. Dropped off extra towels. The view was incredible though.

Good staff retro rooms old but clean and all amenities. Balconies little too small and not great view.

We booked 2 nights, a riverview room with a balcony and a jacuzzi tub. Our room was clean but very dated and had a sort of stale smell. The tiny balcony had serious spider webs and at night it was impossible to sit outside. The light comes on automatically and can't be turned off so it becomes bug central.. We came back late the first night and found out the jacuzzi was missing a part and was unusable. On checking out we were told nothing they can do,, we should of reported it when we found out. I told the women I wasn't going to call anyone 10:30 at night and we left early the next morning again, but she just kept saying " Nothing I can do about it" We paid close to $300 a day for a room with extras we couldn't enjoy, very disappointing.

Staff was very friendly and helpful at checkin. Did not like that there was a hair on shower wall, the floor and on sink. Bathrooms are very old and outdated sink very slow to drain and hold handle down until toilet was completely flushed. Did not feel the room was worth what I paid for it.

The property of the Bonnie Castle and Marina is not accessible for persons with disabilities or the elderly. Also, doors are left open at hight. Insecurity
