VIVA Sunrise

I’m not one for leaving reviews to often, I first came to this hotel in April 2024 with the family and we enjoyed it so have come back in October half term I didn’t leave a review then but now they need one! First let me say we are a family with 4 kids ages of 9,8,3 & 4 months (busy holiday and currently still here) but I did not expect what they did for Halloween oh my god they started of 30th and it went on for 3 days of celebration of Halloween the hotel was decorated and so was the entire pool area and show are like I have never seen before, the went to town on this event they made sure all lights was red, decorations hanging everywhere the staffed all dressed up amazing the displays was great I mean they took this task seriously! They knew the assignment and they did more that deliver they smashed it out of the park!!! Well done I mean very well done! Hotel : well the hotel is very nice and modern and kept very clean, the sports bar is great and so are all over areas such as gym and restaurants Food : the food was good it had lots of variety and was always of good quality although typical buffet style but cannot fault it and my kids are fussy but they are extremely well every day, restaurant staff was very helpful and very professional so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Staff: all staff was great and friendly from the moment you arrive reception are fantastic, cleaning are great, bar staff are just amazing just cannot fault any of them they all deserve to be paid more! Animation team: well where to start, where do they get their energy they must be knackered everyday but you would never know they all try so hard all day every day! There is activities constantly from t shirt making to shooting to Zumba it’s just great and one day they had a mechanical bull to ride! Yes I smashed it! What was really nice is Gina and Elias and the animation manager remembered us from April when my wife was pregnant and was so excited to meet baby! Honestly these people make this hotel and are the main reason we came back! They should all be so proud of them selves for a great season! Pools: this hotel has 3 pools one for the baby’s with little slides etc which is good just too cold, the main pool with the bouncy cushion is great but absolutely freezing! The other pool is heated and where most people went. The life guards are great super friendly and helpful there is no smoking or vaping round the pool and as someone who does smoke this was good for the kids so was nice to see. Bad part of pool : Unfortunately there is no inflatables allowed which is very annoying because the hotel will sell you them only to be told no by a life guard (who does this in such a nice way genuinely nice person) the hotel management has banned them for health and safety which I totally get but don’t sell them in your own shop then! I did complain and wanted my money back which the hotel accommodated no problem as it was from their shop but if it was somewhere

We stayed October 23rd for 5 nights in two rooms due to the size of our party (2 adults, 3 teenagers, 1 child). 2 x one bedroom apartments on the 4th floor. Lovely spacious rooms with everything you need and very clean. We purposely booked this hotel as it advertised 4 pools, 2 being heated. This is not the case. On checking in I asked reception which pools are heated, the response was none. I followed this up with the Jet2 rep again she didn't know despite them being advertised on their website. The same as the access to the 4th pool, balenise beds and jacuzzi. Again another reason we booked this hotel, to find out that we were not allowed access to it as this was an upgrade. Again the jet2 website shows photographs of the pool, beds, jacuzzi and no where does this state it is only for club rooms. Very misleading and disappointing. In addition to this the hotel across the road decided they would refurbish while we were there at 7am, throwing tables, beds, mattresses, wardrobes off the balconies making a right racket. Not what we were expecting at all and no warning. Again this was brought to the attention of the Jet2 rep, once again they had no idea about any of it, not very good really. The food at the hotel is great, the entertainment, gym, spa is lovely, the pools had they have been heated would have been lovely, I suppose in the warmer months they would be. Location wise, great, near to the beach and main *****. We would come back here but will no better what to book next time!

Absolutely amazing hotel with the loveliest staff members and the greatest animation team. This was for us our first mommy-son (all-in) vacation, we had a blast! Everyone is super friendly, clean rooms, nice food and drinks and a lot of entertainment going on!

Absolutely brilliant family holiday!!!! We went the end of July, we had 3 children with us 5,12 and 17. It was amazing for all! We didn’t struggle to get a sunbed each day. The location was amazing, the hotel was really clean. The entertainment staff were absolutely amazing they involved all the kids, they worked so hard day and night!!! They had shows in each night. I have made many videos on my tick tick about this hotel tick tock: zoelouise1790 I want to return next year! It’s brilliant. The food was decent, a good selection. So many nice restaurants nearby tho. Hotel towels were available.

Very nice staff, with an incredible high standard. They made up for the lacks of the hotel. They all go very far to make sure the guests are having the best vacation possible. This year we tried the “Selection Club” because of all the mentioned advantages, but will go home disappointed. The plumbing at the hotel is ridiculously under dimensioned and if you try to take a bath around 6pm in a room on the 5th floor, the water pressure is so low that you need to use one hand at all time to get the small amount of water you get to come out of the overhead shower head. They advertise with late checkouts for “Selection Club” but when you ask for it they can’t tell you until the morning you have to leave and the it is always denied. When all that is said, we have been coming here for the last 13 years (minus the corona years) and in general we are very happy leased with the hotel. Mainly because the staff are the best and the go above and beyond to make your stay the best. Thank you VIVA sunrise for yet another great holiday.

Just returned from Viva Sunrise and could not recommend it enough. This is our 7th visit to Alcudia but 1st to Viva. We stayed in the selection club part which was a lovely addition. Food, drink and hotel were great, However the thing that stood out most to us was the staff. The entertainment team work tirelessly and do an amazing job. There is something for everyone. The most memorable was David our Waiter at the selection club, He is an absolute asset to the hotel and had the friendliest approach. My little boy absolutely loved him. Viva Sunrise i hope have David there next season when we return
