Review based on seven day stay in July 2023 Delphin Palace Hotel has to be the best hotel we've stayed at on Lara Beach. Check-in was easy, greeted by smiles and friendly front desk staff. They gave us free beach bags and mobile phone pouches. Also very helpful throughout our stay. Bedroom: exceptionally clean, had all amenities you'd expect in a 5-star hotel, robes, slippers, toiletries, walking shower, mini bar topped every day, special requests always acknowledged. The staff decorated the room for my birthday and made our stay extra memorable. Restaurants, plenty of them and can choose to eat any unique cuisines. We always ate at the main restaurant as everyone wanted something different. There are plenty of vegetarian choices. The staff in the restaurant always smiling and happy to serve. No pushy requests for tips. Entertainment was always fun and something to do for all with a different theme every day. My niece especially loved the Candy Day theme. The evening gala was fun as the staff and chefs would also join in, including management staff. Spa: there's a sauna and steam room to use. The only downside I would say, is the spa staff trying to sell massages. Especially this gentleman by the pool trying to sell massages and treatments whilst you're trying to relax peacefully. He would not take no for an answer. I booked a haircut, but it was a huge mistake. The hairdresser made a mess of my hair and wanted me to pay her more money than I had already paid. I would not recommend their spa treatments, and watch out for the guy dressed in white by the pool areas targeting women for a hard sell. He was trying to sell an Indian massage he had no knowledge of. Lara beach; Delphin's beach area is by far again the best, and we spent a lot of time in the sea. Pool areas: the main pools can get very loud, with children screaming and jumping over your sunbeds!! There's a separate adult pool area we discovered on our 2nd day, and the staff let my 13-year-old niece stay in the area because she is quiet. The staff was always around to offer and take orders for drinks, again with a happy smile. Area: we have been coming to Lara for many years; it once used to be quiet and peaceful, but over the years, it has become crowded and overly commercialised. The local shops only accept £ $€, making things far more expensive than they are. I'd recommend heading into Tera City to shop. We went to the big Sunday Market, but again this has also changed and vendors are only accepting £€$. Our overall experience at Delphin Palace was terrific, and I would recommend it. I'd like to try their sister hotel next door, Delphin Imperial, next time!
